Bitterness Within ll Summer and Ricky (Backdated)

Summer was pissed off and confused, and sore. Fighting that vampire from retribution had brought something out of Summer that she knew was right….But she also couldn’t say she didn’t entirely dislike it. The blonde woman pushed all that aside for now, because she needed to get home. Back to Ricky. He always gave her clarity…. Not to mention she needed to patch herself up.

After taking a couple round about routes just to make sure that she wasn’t followed. But finally, she was home. Summer made it in the door and let out a deep breath. “…I’m home, Ricky…” She called, leaning her back against the wall.

There had been a great deal of worry. And, perhaps, even more pacing about the apartment that evening. The worrying was supposed to be stopped by the pacing, but the pacing only seemed to increase the worrying. Yet, if Ricardo stopped pacing then the thinking would start and that...well that was just all the more worrisome.

“There are times....” He muttered, eyes casting towards the inky darkness of a Chicago night, “When...I regret emotions....” or at least the softer ones...the complex ones? OR perhaps just the general ones. He wasn’t truly sure at the moment.

Oh. There’s the thinking. More pacing then.

Or at least that was the intention, until he heard a painfully familiar voice in some pain, “Summer!”
