You know, after all the effort I put into the search and looking at how I met Eden in the end….I guess looking is what counts, no matter how. And once you will only want peace and quiet back, you can go roam for a while ;) Does not sound like the worst thing to do to me.

I can’t accuse you for doing so. It seemed all so dark for so many years, especially after we lost the other. It seemed like things had come to an end…

But that’s the past! On one hand, I’d like to have you here with us, especially once the little one is around. Yet again, if you feel like traveling (or like whatever else), you should do it! One never knows what one will find…leaves me still all baffled…

I knew that if anyone would tell me to leave and see the world or whatever, it would be you.

We should not give it up, it’s what all of this proves. We can’t anyways. It’s just not an option even though it’s the hardest thing to me at times.

You know….I look differently at things by now. True, I felt you have given up on us and focused just on her. What I definitely underestimated though was the impact of, well, falling in love. I had no idea. So yes…I was not happy about her. Yet I just by now fully unterstand what I asked from you.

Uhm…like doing what?

See it as a start? Or motivation? The reason to go on, I guess. Make it all better for the little prince or princess.

I had given up. That’s the worst thing of all. Sure, I looked after our folk, but I forgot about us. I’m not mad at you, for anything. You wanted to do right, by me, our race, the ones we are supposed to protect. Now you can just lay back and let me be the repos… resposi… responsible? The responsible one for once.

Hm. I think no. Not this alone. But it is what I have become afraid, so very afraid of having lost it: hope. I have to admit though that the personal means are the ones I care about most right now. Might be wrong behaviour for a prince but I can’t change it right now.

I have given up this hope before and have been selfish. I think that’s what you called me once with respect to… to /her/. I only thought about the moment and doing what I can do for those that live, not those that might live in the future.

And not even a warehouse full of cheese would change it the tiniest bit. Mostly I am… curious, I guess. I need to see this, I guess, to really get it :/
