tick , tock . tick , tock . hella doesnโt blink , as long as she can endure the burning sensation - waiting for the time to stop for her . it doesnโt . oh , well . โ you know , โ her voice is calm , an absent-minded look dominating her pale face .ย โ i donโt think we exist . like . iโm probably not real . but my cat ? she is real . i know that , like , for sure . โ hella rises from the soft cushions , shrugging .ย โ wouldnโt it be cool to know ? โ clearly amused ( or proud , canโt be sure ) by the intelligent conversation sheโs offering , the extended hand stops near the maleโs face . bop . she smacks her lips together as hovered finger presses against his pointy nose , a loud giggle filling the distance betweenย them .ย โ got the idea while i was playing sims - i created us ! we were roommates . until .. until you decided to cook . โ brunette sulks , still giggling .ย โ needless to say , sims hella is looking for a new roommate , the old one is .. a burnt chicken now . โย ย
reese doesnโt automatically tune in when hella starts talking --- after being friends with her for a while, heโs learned that he doesnโt always have to pay attention when sheโs thinking out loud. brown eyes are glued to the buzzfeed quiz on his phone, he only moves them to the girlโs face when he feels a pressure on the tip of his nose.ย โ i killed myself in a fire because i tried to cook ?ย ย โย he asks, his hand coming up to nudge her finger away from his face. reese is a terrible cook, and something like that doesnโt seem so far off base, so maybe this is the universeโs way of telling him to stop before he dies a tragic, fiery death. or maybe itโs nothing more than hellaโs weird ramblings. heโs not great at telling the difference.ย โ but if you know your catโs real, and youโre real to your cat, then you have to be real, โ he theorizes, weighing in on her previous train of thought.ย โ but, no, i donโt think iโd like to know for sure if weโre real or not. my life is pretty great as it is, so i think iโd take the blue pill. โ
