once they grew closer, jack mentioned to her over text that he would be going live that night and that she should join. his messages towards her were always slightly cheeky, (Y/N) didn't think anything of it. the consensus surrounding her new friend was that he "belonged to the streets" so she tried not to let it go to her head.

jack: since i know you can't get enough of me, imma be on live tonight ;)

(Y/N): oh i'll be the first one watching

jack: why watch when you can join?

and since that offer she has been patiently (anxiously) awaiting the notification that he was live, she had to time it right, to not seem like she was that excited to see him.

she knows her platonic feelings have grown into those of a crush, but seriously who could blame her, especially when he teased her the way he always did.

awhile later she finally saw his profile picture bubble change colors, she gave it a few minutes and then clicked on it, jack's handsome face filling her phone screen. he talked with his fans for a bit and teased that he might have "a special guest" joining him for the evening, after that (Y/N) pressed the request to join button and waited to see if he noticed.

it didn't take long, "oh shit (Y/N)'s here, let's get her in here."

she hurriedly did a once over of her appearance, not understanding the nerves. a second later her face joined his on the screen and they both smiled widely at one another.

"hey beautiful." jack said immediately with a huge grin, enjoying her flustered reaction.

the chat was freaking out, the numbers of the live had shot up once fans of hers were notified that she was online. people kept asking if this was their announcement of being a couple, if only.

she rolled her eyes playfully, "hi jack." his smiles and laughter were contagious it was hard to keep up the mock annoyance.

"i know you been waitin' all day for me to do this, but other than that whatchu been up to?" he smiled again and added an adorable chuckle. she stifled another laugh, that's exactly what she had been doing all afternoon.

"me being here is purely out of boredom, it's you who was waiting for me." they shared another laugh, this was the banter they both usually had over text, but with an audience it egged them on even more to tease the other.

randomly in a moment of silence she complimented his clear yellow glasses that he was wearing in his dimly lit room.

"i like your glasses, they look good." everything looked good on him, but she chose her current favorite thing.

he focused his gaze intently towards the camera and flashed his famous smile, "you look good though."

(Y/N)'s heart raced and she internally thanked herself for doing that once over that previously seemed pointless.

"you do too much, i gotta go, goodnight jack." she hoped he couldn't hear her voice shaking, this moment would be in every compilation video.

"going so soon? aight, night, (Y/N)...love you." he winked once as he bid her a goodnight and she left the livestream without saying anything back. "love you"?! her heart felt like it was in her throat.

no more than a moment after she disconnected jack was leaning away from the camera covering his smiling face with his hands.

"y'all i can't lie, i been crushing on her for months. man...(Y/N)...with her fine ass." he leaned his head on one hand and nonchalantly scrolled through the chat with a smile.

"damn...i feel good right now, shit."

(Y/N)'s body felt electrified, he must have known she would hear that, she panicked and left his live entirely, pacing around her room with the stupidest grin plastered on her face, just replaying in her head what he said about her.

feeling confident, she grabbed her phone again and texted jack, needing to know if he was just playing with her and his audience.

(Y/N): so you've had a crush for months huh?
