Earth? This name was cool and short, just as he liked. "Ok", he said, distancing himself from the lake after some of the girls splashed him. He knew they didn't mean to do it and he didn't mind the water, knowing his clothes would become dry later.
"I got here fifteen minutes ago. The plane probably crashed by then", he answered.
Lottie was one of the girls whose first instinct was to dive into the water—the smile plastered on her face was probably visible on the shore as she finally cooled off. Surprisingly, she didn’t seem to care about the fact that it was a lake in the middle of nowhere, and was probably contaminated. Either that, or she didn’t notice.
Her shirt was abandoned on the shore as she floated around. The brunette’s head turned to the poodle haired girl and the green haired man, her brows knitted together slightly, "Are you dorks not coming in? It’s nice in here."
"Yeah no thanks", he answered. He could swim, but he preferred to do so when it was necessary. It wasn't his favorite activity. He sat on the rocks, already regretting he didn't bring a bottle of sake, despite his face being blank. But he couldn't know he'd end up here.
"Maybe in a second?" Misty said to Lottie before sitting down on the ground next to the rock Zoro was on. She did start to unbutton her shirt though, but she had a white tank top underneath. "I'm not even sure where we are to the point it might as well be a different world."
"Well, I know it's not literally another world." For the team, at least. "Just, like, it's so different I'm not sure where we are at all." She saw coach Ben and looked at zoro. "He can't swim. Should we bring water to him or something maybe?"
Misty nodded and was grabbing a water bottle from her bag. She was going to squirt Ben with some, but he gave her a look that was clearly... not amused. Can't entirely blame him, he just lost a leg, but still. Part of her worried Zoro was going to soon look at her like that. Like she was a problem, like how all the other girls had looked at her before the crash.
"I don't think he wants any." She tried to say in a joking tone to Zoro before turning to look at Lottie in the water.
Misty looked at Zoro and shook her head nervously. "Oh, no, I-" she started to say. She couldn't be focused on a crush when they all just crashed! But Lottie was really pretty, even if confusing sometimes on where they stood... okay, very confusing. "She's just a.. friend."
After a few more minutes of swimming, paddling and whatnot, Lottie’s head turned as her gaze drifted elsewhere. As she glanced at the mountain, she squinted when she saw a light flash. Her brows knitted together in confusion. What could that have possibly been?
All of a sudden, she raised herself up and lifted her arm to point at the forest-y mountain, "There’s something up there."

That was weird, to say the least. Zoro remembered how he walked away from that damn cook and the dinosaur that HE killed (there's no way this idiot cook killed the beast. How can a person kill a tyrannosaurus rex just with kicks???), after hearing a high pitched, child-like laugh. But when he went towards the direction of the laugh, he only saw a brown door.
That confused him. Was there an invisible house? He didn't understand how people could live like that. He reluctantly knocked on the door, but nobody answered him, so he just opened the door and went in, only to be in the woods again.
But this scenario was different. The berries here didn't look odd. He picked them and put the berries in the pocket of his salmon colored shorts, so he could give them to the stupid cook. Maybe Sanji could make a nice juice out of them.
Along with that, he was unable to spot any footprints that were similar to a dinosaur's ones. Instead, he saw a bear's footprints, fox's footprints and a moose's footprints.
The weather here wasn't as hot as in Little Garden. It had a bit of coldness to it, so he could only assume that it was autumn here. That also meant that his clothes- a sky blue short sleeved shirt and salmon colored shorts suited the weather.
He held onto the red handle of his cursed sword, ready to attack any animal that was in his way, before he smelled the bitter smell of something burning up. He got curious and a bit worried, so he kept walking, until he saw a burning plane with a bunch of young girls standing nearby. All of them didn't have a unique hair color, and any animal features, meaning that he was in an... Ordinary forest.
The girls were unfamiliar to him as well, so he assumed that he was lost... Again. How great. "Goddammit", he mumbled to himself, wanting to turn back and find the door. But then, all of a sudden, he noticed an older man lying under one of the wings of the plane. He wondered if he was ok, and why the fuck nobody helped him.
For the first time he wished he knew how to heal people, instead of killing them. He walked closer and saw that the man's leg was under the plane, so he just asked the first thing that came to his mind.
"Does anyone know how to keep this guy unconscious, before I'll cut his leg off?"
🥔: hope you guys are ok if he cuts Ben's leg instead of Misty.
Misty flinched at first when she heard a voice that hadn't been one from the plane. She was fairly sure the pilots were dead, she heard Jackie scream when Coach Martinez fella out of the plane, and Travis and Javi didn't sound like that.
She looked from this guy, who had green hair for some reason (the least of Misty's concerns), and down back at Coach Ben. He was awake, but seemed delirious. "I think.. I think he's out of it enough for you to just do it." She spoke quickly, stumbling as she tried to see if she could use anything to stop the bleeding for whenever this guy cut it off. She settled on her belt and started to take it off.
"Alright", he said to the girl with the blond and curly hair. She reminded him of an orange cat. He looked back at the guy under the plane. He did seem delirious, and Zoro was worried he'd bring him back to his consciousness while cutting his leg off.
But he needed to do what he could in order to help the wounded man, so he unsheathed Wado Ichimonji, the last thing that was left of his late childhood friend, Kuina, before cutting the broken leg of the stranger. He prepared himself for any future curdling screams that might emerge from the man's mouth.
Misty ignored the yell that came out of Ben's mouth as she bent down. He was seemingly passed out now as she wrapped her belt tightly on his leg like a tourniquet to stop the blood flow. There wasn't really time to panic that much, she grabbed a random shirt that seemed to have gotten loose from the crash and also put that around Ben's leg.
She looked up at the green haired guy. Still weird to her that someone else managed to be stranded here too. His green hair was nice though, a momentary distraction. "Thank you." A pause. Misty realized she needed to start helping make sure no one else was injured. Thank god for course she took. "Can you look around to see if there's any sort of medial supplies?"
Just as he expected, the poor stranger yelled. But he stayed calm, as always. He wondered if some of the other girls here were hurt as well.
"No problem", he answered, before she asked about the supplies. That made him black out for a moment. But then he remembered what she was talking about.
"Yeah, sure", he answered, before he started looking for them.
TW: last paragraph has a short description of coach martinez and the whole.. tree situation
Misty was looking around, picking at her hands a little as she helped out. Seems like it was a good thing she did that course twice. There wasn't too much to work with, but there was enough for her to be able to help out for some of the injuries. It was a miracle there wasn't much else.
After a few moments, she looked around to try and see if she could find the green haired fellow again. "What's your na-"
That's when she heard Laura Lee shriek. She flinched and turned her head to see what the commotion was about. It became apparently once she saw some blood drip from up high and the sight of coach Martinez's body. Her eyes widened as she covered her mouth.
He found a first aid kit near one the girls. She seemed alright, though, and so was the kit. Maybe it was kept well in the plane despite the fire, but he didn't know who forgot this.
As he was about to answer, he heard one of the girls scream. There was a guy on one of the trees and he was... Dead...
Zoro was used to see dead bodies. Either because he killed them, or they were killed by others. But something about this sight horrified him. And yet, he stayed calm as always.
One of the guys (the dead man's son probably), tried to climb the tree in order to reach his dad and get him to the ground. Some of the girls were worried about him. Zoro understood why the guy wanted to climb the tree, but he did agree with the girl who offered to cut the tree down.
And yet, he didn't do anything. He waited to see how this would go.
Charlotte stumbled a bit as she tripped over a few rocks, or twigs, or whatever. She couldn’t care less. All she wanted to do was get home. Taking another stumble and landing on the ground with a thump, and a huff escaping her lips, her eyes locked onto it.
The body of Coach Martinez. She immediately attempted to move, sitting up and shuffling back on her hands. A piercing scream left her throat, and she grabbed at the hem of her fur coat. Just to have something to hold on to.
“Holy shit!” Lottie cried out as she finally stood, her legs wobbling slightly as she jogged back to stand with the others. Staring at the scene in front of her properly.
The boy was near his dead father, but Zoro could see how the branch started to break after the dad reached his son (well, tried to). He wondered if the man was actually alive. But then again, it seemed like he didn't have much time to live.
"He's still alive", he said right before the branch fell on the ground with the man on it, as if it was his shitty death bed. He noticed the boy hiding behind the tree, before climbing down.
He didn't go to see the body as he didn't want to do so. He knew that the guy was already dead, so what's there to see? The wounds? The fresh blood? He was familiar with them. After all, death was like a frienemy to him.
"You think so..?" Misty swallowed as she gripped onto a shirt she was trying to use as a makeshift bandage thing. The noise that Coach Martinez's body made had made her almost want to throw up at first as she flinched. Okay, shit.
Misty listened as Taissa got a count of who was even left after the crash. Again, a surprising amount. She went back to check on Ben for a moment, then Lottie, then back to the green haired guy. "I was about to ask what your name was."
"I saw him trying to reach the other guy right before he fell. But it happened quickly, so I don't think most people here saw that", he answered, before the blond girl went to check on the others. He hoped they were ok. Surviving a plane crash and then watching someone's leg being cut off, and watching a man die as he fell from a tree was a traumatizing experience. He wondered if this group would be rescued soon.
His train of thoughts stopped when he heard the girl's voice again.
Well, if Coach Martinez had been alive, he certainly wasn't now. She tried not to focus on that much as she finally got the green haired guy's name. Zoro.. interesting. She hadn't really heard that as a name before. "I'm Misty." She said with a smile. He seemed friendly enough. If he had plans to attack, surely he would've done so by now. "Did you crash here too, or do you like.. live in the area?" Pause. "Do you know how to get out of here?"
Misty is an interesting name, to say the least. Was it her full name, or a nickname?
"Is that your full name?", he asked. Then, he realized he had to explain his situation to her, which was an obvious thing to do. Meeting a guy with three swords in the woods would be a bit weird, right?
"I am not from here as well", he told her. "Didn't crash here though".
Lottie rolled her eyes from where she was stood as she heard the two conversing, her hand pressed against her forehead. She turned back to Misty and Zoron, or whatever his name was—she couldn’t care less right now.
“Are you two idiots done talking?” She yelled out, knelt down beside Coach Ben with a some of the other girls. She grimaced as she looked at his leg, eyes narrowing and teeth gritting together, “Well, shit…” Lottie hadn’t taken a proper look at the damage done from the sword until that point, but when she had, she wished she’d have just stayed curious.
Before he got an answer from Misty, he heard another girl telling them to shut up. Ok, now that was rude. What the fuck was her problem?
"Not yet. Maybe after you stop yelling at us", he answered casually, before he saw her kneeling to check the wound he caused.
"I wouldn't do this if I were you", he said as the other girls did the same as well. What was wrong with them? Why were they doing this? Did they want to have nightmares about it later? That'd be stupid, but that would be their issue later, not his.
He folded his hands and looked away. That stance screamed 'disappointed but not surprised'.
Misty looked from Zoro to Lottie. "Lottie, I get this is.. stressful." She said, even though she was sort of annoyed at Lottie still. "But also, maybe he could help us! He helped with Ben's leg and stuff."
“Oh my god, Quigley,” Lottie murmured, almost to herself, “I get you don’t have friends at home, or whatever, but that doesn’t mean you can befriend the first guy that helps us. What if we can’t trust him?”
Grimacing as she stepped closer toward Misty, Lottie moved her lips to the girl’s ear so nobody could hear; but, she wasn’t that good at whispering, “He could be helping us so that we trust him and give him shelter, so then he can kill us all.” She mockingly gasps, acting horrified, before crossing her arms and going back to her neutral expression.
So this girl sucked at whispering. But she was valid. She didn't know him, nor any other person here knew him and vice versa. But just because he always carried three swords did not mean that he was going to kill every person he came across, but no one here knew that, and the chance that they'd believe him was thin, but he had to convince them he wasn't a bad person (which was true) if he wanted to stay around and find that damn door.
"I may be a swordsman, but I don't kill every person I come across, unless the person is known to be evil. I don't even know you, which means that I've got no reason to hurt you", he said. That was unless they proved him otherwise, of course.
Misty's face was slightly warm when Lottie got close to her like that. However, she still believed this guy could be the perfect help! "Besides, what shelter would we even be able to give him? Who knows if there's anything for miles, him killing us after giving us shelter would be a waste!"
She the turned to Zoro again. "Do you know how to hunt and stuff with the sword too?" She asked curiously. If he was gonna stay, that could also be useful. Who knows how long the airplane food would last.
"Yeah I can", he answered. Being helpful while staying there wasn't a bad idea. Productivity is a good thing, of course. He just needed to find that door first.
Lottie couldn’t control the roll of her eyes and the twitch of her upper lip as she scowled. She crossed her arms and walked around on her tiptoes momentarily, looking around over and past the trees for anything that could be of help. Nothing. Another exasperated huff escaped from between the girl’s lips. "I want my suitcase," She muttered to herself, teeth gritted together.
He looked around, trying to find said suitcase. He hoped she didn't leave it in the plane while trying to get out, because if it was there, then there'd be nothing left from it.
Misty wasn't helping find the suitcase. She wanted to try soon, but she was doing a last minute check to be sure everyone else was okay before she helped. She caught up with Lottie. "What color was yours again?" She asked.
Lottie squinted as she looked around, hands on her hips firmly. “Light pink. And then I had a smaller little case that was heliotrope,” She mused, running a hand through her perfect curls out of stress. That suitcase had the one thing that would probably keep her sane whilst they were out here.
