It will forever be a source of frustration to me that whenever I post a picture of a beautiful animal, there are always comments of: “I want one!” or “where can I buy one?“ Innocent or not, it is this same sense of entitlement to other lives that puts animals in zoos and puts money in the pockets of breeders. Why is our first instinct as humans not to appreciate or admire, but to own?

Honestly the whole joke about vegans talking about them being vegans is so annoying like Christians wear pendants that allow you to see that they are indeed Christian In every bio on every social media site there are people being like “proud Californian” “gamer” “dancer” “artist” like??????? Everyone else can be proud of what they are until you’re a damn vegan Why do vegans have to shut up about what they believe in when everyone else in any other group in the world can just be loud and proud about it and no one even cares?
