The following year, he released single âCrew Loveâ off of Take Care, which reached the Top Ten of Billboardâs Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart and was then featured on another single with similar success, Wiz Khalifaâs âRemember You.â Afterwards, Tesfaye signed with Universal Republic and remastered his previous mixtapes for his album Trilogy, which featured three new songs in November 2012 and went platinum that May. He also achieved success with a series of chart topping, non-album singles, such as âOftenâ and âEarned Itâ as well as being featured in Ariana Grandeâs âLove Me Harder.â In 2015, Tesfaye released hits âThe Hillsâ and âCanât Feel My Faceâ as the first two singles from Beauty Behind the Madness, which debuted at number one. After breaking up from the band and trading his bass in for a guitar, Sting debuted his first solo album, The Dream of the Blue Turtles, in 1985. The album put him on the grid as a viable solo pop artist with hit songs including âIf You Love Somebody Set Them Freeâ and âFortress Around Your Heart.â Achieving success as a solo artist, The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer has sold over 100 million records and has received 16 Grammy Awards.
