I’m not gonna lie, I only found Wynonna Earp because I heard of Wayhaught and saw clips of them on YouTube before I watched the show. And I only watched the show when it was added to Netflix. My sole reason at the time for watching was Wayhaught…if I’m being honest. But very soon after starting Wynonna Earp it wasn’t just about Wayhaught for me anymore. I became very invested in all the characters, how dynamic they are, and all their relationships. But I’m also not going to lie, Wayhaught is very important to me. In season one, it was so important to me to see a character like Nicole Haught, who is so unapologetically herself. And it was so important to me to see a character like Waverly Earp, who is in her twenties and still figuring out who she is. And it was so important to me to see them together, to see a real, and healthy f/f relationship.

I love everything about Wynonna Earp. I love how this show has the ability to make me laugh one moment and then cry the next moment, and then happy the next moment. I love this show’s cast and showrunner. I love how the whole cast is full of people I genuinely love, care about, and admire. I love how Katherine Barrell, Dominique Provost-Chalkley and Emily Andras are so aware of how important this representation is to the LGBTQ community.

Wynonna Earp has really helped me since I found it. Often times I need something to just distract me, something to just make me feel anything about something else that isn’t about things in my personal life. And Wynonna Earp is just the thing I needed to obsess over.

I am so glad, and so grateful to have Wynonna Earp. I don’t think I could ever thank the people responsible for Wynonna Earp enough. I could never thank Beau Smith enough for creating Wynonna Earp. I could never thank SYFY, Space, IDW, SEVEN24 Films, Emily Andras, and anyone else responsible for the show enough. No amount of words could ever suffice. I mean this so wholeheartedly. I honestly don’t know what I would do without it.
