Blind date (incomplete)

A fluffy little fic where Luigi and Bowser unintentionally got into an online relationship through text messages.

The Love Sceptre (incomplete) (on hiatus)

A comedy/adventure fic where Bowser accidentally hit Luigi with a love spell and have to deal with the consequences. The vibe is heavily inspired from the Mario and Luigi rpg series.

Draw Me Like One of Your French Koopa (incomplete) (slow to update)

A slow burn romance taking place in a more grounded, renaissance version of the Mario world. King Bowser fell in love with an artist Luigi, and they bond through expensive commissions and cheesy art jokes.

The young and only son of King Mario Mario and Queen Peach Toadstool, forced to take the throne at a young age due to a crisis befalling the Mushroom Kingdom that compromised his parents. Their whereabouts are currently unknown.

WREN FUNFACTS:

☆ He was indeed named after the wren bird. Mario and Peach were cradling him in their quarters juggling around name ideas until a small bird landed on their windowsill, giving Peach the idea to call him Wren.

☆ He is only 15 in the drawing, but looks like he's 27 with a 9-5, 6 days a week office job. He still looks young, but his face shows the exhaustion of a working laborer.

☆ If you thought he looked a lot like Peach, that is intentional. He got a lot of Peach's genes, but got Mario's fluffy hair. He just tidies it up a lot.

☆ Composed, but in a "the second I slip up, this kingdom will fall, I cannot take a break" kind of composed.

☆ Originally had a sister in lore who adopted most of Mario's looks, but she was scrapped. He is the King and Queen's only heir.

☆ Peach is to Toadsworth, Wren is to Toadette!

☆ Rules the Mushroom Kingdom with a kind heart and a nervous, but firm voice. He is almost akin to a glass statue, imposing but fragile. A lot of the citizens are worried about him.

☆ Secretly REALLY likes metal and rock. Canonically a metalhead. His favorite song is Ready to Die by AndrewWK. A koopa swears on their LIFE he saw him at a Guns n' Roses concert.

HE'S SO COOL! Poor boy, he looks like he need a nice long break wrap in a large blanket and some cookies. He's too young to be handling a whole kingdom, I hope his parents are okay! I love that he's a metal fan as well, great juxtaposition.

Also, I'm a big fan of his design, what a dapper fella. I don't know if it's intentional, but I see a bit of Peach's sword fighter design in him.

Other than that, though, may I know more about Prince/ess Plum? He seems very very interesting! A conniving, kind yet underlyingly devilish ruler is quite the odd folk for someone with Mario's heroic blood!

And also, where are Mario and Peach in this?

First of all YES! Please show me your fankid designs! Show me all of the fankids I love seeing other people's take on them!

Secondly, Plum is indeed quite the oddball. While he very much got his parents' kindness and gentleness, the devilishness is something he seemingly developed himself. Most judge him worse than he really is because of his sass and temperament on top of everything, but it is mainly because he was handed a way too important role, way too soon, with way too little time to prepare.

(something I drew a few months back that got a chance to post finally lol)

Anyway, Plum take his role as ruler very seriously. Very VERY seriously. He got a very idealised image of Peach that he wants to uphold. He developed this persona of a proper, perfect ruler after years of training in the cutthroat diplomatic environment. Underneath all that scheming is a genuine love for his people and kingdom, and absolute devotion to his role.

You... do have to just take my words for it. It's hard to see his genuine care, when he's so bad at expressing himself. He tried to buried the socially awkward, shy and emotional kid he used to be with something pristine and perfect looking. But his perfect shell becomes ugly once you start noticing the cracks, all that bitterness and shame when he realised that he could never be the ruler his mother once was.

As for Mario and Peach, they did had to deal with the rocky teenage years Marcel and Plum had. Plum built up that confidence very quickly once the role was given to him, until Peach trusted him enough to officially gave him the crown. After that, the couple were eager to start their long retirement, where they could travel the world at their own pace, and appreciating the luxury they were too busy to savour.

Growing Pain - Part 1

Ask and you shall receive! It took me awhile, but I can finally show what I've been cooking up with these two, with a little comic series :D

This mini comic series explain Marcel and Plum's teen years, leading to their adulthood. I got 4 more chapters like this planned, so I hope you guys are patient enough to see them :P

But in the meanwhile, I would like to just draw these two casually as well and answering any question you guys might have. Thank you for reading!

Hey, thank you for the ask! Sorry for the late reply! I got a lot to answer for this question, so I wanna prepare. Lots of backstories below.

Bowser's kids pretty much knew about their cousins since they were toddlers. Mario and Peach left their kids for Luigi to babysit quite often, and they got the most exposure to Junior, who was desperate to not be the youngest in the household. Junior was in his moody pre-teen phase, so he's not the nicest playmate, but they get along.

As they grew up, they stayed in contact, but mostly on Marcello's side. During a few of her teenage years, Marcello (after resigned from her spot on the throne) left to live at her uncle's place for a while as a change of scenery, so she could think about her future. That's when she bonded the most with Bowser's kids.

I drew her with only Junior here, but she was closed with most of the Koopalings. They like to call her their "honorary koopaling". She was closest with Junior of course, and they have a little rivalry against each other. Even as they grew to adulthood, they still train and go on adventures together. She would honestly even think of Junior as a close friend, since they share most of their grievances.

As for Plum?

Bowser's kids as a collective are a bit too rowdy for his taste. As he was growing up, he tends to avoid his cousins at events, and the koopalings thought of him to be too moody and stuck up to be around anyway.

While his older sister left to find her own footing, Plum was busy his entire teen years training. However as an adult, he is quite fond of Ludwig. Ludwig, at least in my universe, is the one that took after the throne after Bowser retired, so he travels to the Mushroom Kingdom to meet Plum quite a bit. Usually diplomatic businesses, tea and small talks, but I would call them friends.

More Plum and Marcel as children, and their extended family! They were a lot different compare to their adult selves.
