Blujay and the Vault

Was this human trembling…in excitement? Now that was a welcome change. Better than the usual trepidation and wariness at least! Such a pleasantly strange visitor. Or was this the norm topside these days? He couldn’t deny that it was endearing all the same and the goopman was glad to answer her question.

-Well, I’m a bit of an outlier actually hmhm. But ‘like us’ in that we’re wildly different from humans, yeah. We come in all shapes and sizes down here! Hey, I’d be more than happy to tell ya about all the different folks in the Underground, but… -

But~ Wander was positive this curious little lady was one of the people he was looking for. While he was confident that Asriel could take care of himself for the most part, a little reassurance that the goatlad wasn’t in mortal danger wouldn’t exactly go amiss either.

-Well, Azzy, The Prince, IS a good friend of mine. And I’ve been hearing rumors about human friends of his showing up and saying something about his safety…and here you are, apparently part of that group. I need to know. Is my pal alright?-

[The half-blood start bouncing up on her toes- before she places her hands up on top of her mouth and lets out a muffled squeal before she smiles and declares]

“I-I think I might do great out here- especially with some diplomatic leverage!”

[Wander did start talking about Asriel and wondering about how he was more or less asking about his situation. Rather- the lack of one]

*Azz... Oh you mean Princey? He’s doing fine. Cappy did say something about making sure it stays that way. The crew was a little uneasy these past few starlights...

“Cappy said that he doesn’t want to scare me because he’s more than a resource- he’s a leader! Just like Cappy: family to me and the others! Is that what Princey is to you, ummm....Wandy?

Mister Wander? Pretty short list of people who would dare address the amalgam like that, and while young this visitor definitely didn’t sound like Azzy or any of the kids he knew. Slowly so as not to startle the newcomer, Wander turned and looked back…and~ down. Well then, he was looking for a human, and it seems one found him instead! Was this one of the prince’s friends though? 

-Ah, hey there!  Yeah, Wander’s m’name. And considering the ‘mister’ you’re either very polite or we have a mutual acquaintance heheh. How can I help you…?-

[The half blood would shuffle where she stood. Not nearly seeing something so... indescribable. Quite literally- there was no feature to this creature she stood before other than.. a blob with button eyes bin a robe. She’d be a little stunned, taking a moment to inspect what she was seeing- and then nearly starstruck in quick successions]

“yyyeeah. Let’s just say I’m a little both. Cappy said you might be good friends with Princey. I... had to see you for myself! Do all creatures that live here in the mountain look like you and his royal highness, mister?
