Toriel was shocked by the kneel, before sighing and waiting for their next move. She would listen carefully and didnât see any reason not to agree, along with her not wanting to be a rude host after all, Speaking as soft as ever. âI do not see why it would be a bother, may I ask just what you are investigating? Though you do not need to call me majesty, Toriel is just fine Andrew.â
-The guardian gives a troubled look up to the monster. He was rather surprised that Toriel didnât want to be addressed as such.
âAre... you sure, maâam?... Iâm humbled by your presense and I wouldnât dare to dishonor your name, Misses Toriel.
-He stood up, as tall as ever- although not as tall as the ex-queen. he did come relatively close. He remained formally composed, one hand wrapped around the opposing wrist.
âTo summarize... one of our assets has gone missing in action; a contact of ours. Our only lead is that they seem to be among the proximity of the mountain. It had come to my attention that youâre the queen of this domain and I thought Iâd come to you to see if we can pick up any leads regarding if perhaps one of your peers could be a key of ours.
âGenasi? Never heard anyone use that before, But I would imagine you would be pretty close with that. But⌠what are you getting on about cycles?â
Heâs getting pretty confused about everything that was going on. It was clear at least something was different with her. He wasnât going to ask though, feeling it might be rude.
Harrison would turn back to the wolf and the fox, both of which were still asleep comfortably, Aimee asleep on Navi now.
âBut, the wolf is Ivan⌠nice kid. And the purple Foxâs name is Navi. They are siblingsâŚboth human, although I guess all three of em are kinda siblings now. That little thing over there is a Tem. She hasnât been changed at all.â
A quick run down of the situation wasnât entirely necessary, but he felt like doing it anyways.
@little-water-child
Genasi? Meri hadnât heard that one before. And she was pretty confused about cycles too. But at the moment she was being petted and held, so she really didnât need to think about it. And it wasnât like she was trying to be sneaky. If she could talk, she could have told her from the very start. She was just glad Madison knew now.
( @vaultbrigade )
âWell... in the Cycle number 324 of Plasma. The domains of the world could turn natural magic into a resource that can be physically administered to what needs be... good for non-magic users- including dispells and et cetera...â
-Intel was her speciality, mainly because having been made of pure magic and having a parent that was as such, it would pique her interest. She almost hadnât realized that she had rambled to people that more or less wouldnât undesrtand an inch of her studies.
-Harrison introduced the animals but... Tem?! Her knowledge was clashing. She was rather young to grasp the differences between dimensions. However, she waited a little to answer Harrisonâs first question.she.
âTwo questions, sir... whatâs bunnyâs name? And... whatâs a Tem?â
@nocharacterinparticular
âWell, no I mean⌠they arenât usually animals is the thing. I mean actual kids, as in children. Itâs⌠complicated, but basically things like this have a way of just happening. Itâs what happened when you live in a world with magic I suppose.â
Harrison would travel over to the pile, carefully removing Aimee to some other fluff so he can pick up Meri, bringing her up close to his chest as he walks back to Madison. He would idly pet her as he continued to talk.
âNormally, sheâs a monster. A water elemental. Someone decided it would be funny to change her to a bunny⌠and I know itâs weird, and Iâm sure she wonât be like this for long, but⌠the fact is she wasnât even home when it happened⌠again, thanks for helping her.â
Madison would be able to hold Meri if she reached out to try. Harrison would be perfectly fine handing her off unless Meri did something to show she was uncomfortable.
@little-water-child
The Tem wouldnât even open her eyes as she was moved from her comfy bunny pillow to another comfy pillow. Sheâd shift to get a little more comfortable in her new spot, but before long she was as still as before and sleeping soundly.Â
Meri was comfortable enough. She was relaxed in Harrisonâs arms, and wouldnât struggle if Madison went to pick her up again.Â
( @vaultbrigade )
*Water... elemental... a ... you mean... a water genasi?
-Madisonâs eyes were lighting up, it had nearly caught her full attention as Harrison spoke. Now that she was given a more fleshed out explanation, she could... sort of put the pieces together. Of course, she didnât understand the concept of anon magic.. or primitive types of magic entirely.
âI... think I Â understand... Â but I thought magic was... harnessed over two-thousand cycles ago...â
-Of course, the half-blood would reach out for Meri and begin petting her head as she lets Meri rest on her arms comfortably. She giggled before she whispered hi to Meri.
â...sneaky bunny. Would have never guessed!Â
@nocharacterinparticular
âA pretty what now?â
The man would lean out the door for a second to see what she might have been looking at. Having spotted the flowers, he would get back completely inside, as it was visible from withing.
âHuh, one of the kids must have put that up. Looks pretty nice if I do say so myself. Not sure how I missed it for this longâŚâ
It wouldnât take him long to convince himself that it couldnât have been one of the kids, but he didnât comment on it any further, there wasnât a need to because it really wasnât important, or it didnât seem so at least.
If Madison were to enter, Ivan would be within viewing distance of the door, the fluffy base of the pile where everyone else was located. Harrison had a feeling like he would have to explain what exactly had happened, but he wasnât quite sure how.
âNow⌠I know itâs gonna be confusing and weird but⌠that the bunny you found isnât exactly a pet. Sheâs⌠one of my kids.â
@little-water-child
Meriâs eyes would follow the two of them, lifting her head slightly to see better. They must have been talking about the flower crown she saw earlier. If only she could talk and tell them who really left itâŚ
She wondered how Madison would take learning what she really was. It did sound rather unbelievable if it hadnât happened before. Children donât normally just turn into animals.
( @vaultbrigade )
-Madison finally steps inside as Harrison had explained things. Sheâd immediately spot the pile- sheâd let out a gentle gasp seeing the different animals. She was about to approach Meri right when Harrison mentioned Meri, She didnât entirely get the message- rather she turned around with a heartful expression.
âawwww...! Thatâs so sweet... I guess it would get lonely here too. I know I needed friends down where Iâm stationed...They must mean the whole world if youâre the only human... let alone family.Â

It was pretty obvious Harrison was at least a bit confused at Maddieâs confusion. She said she was a scout but she didnât know what a cookie even was? They had plenty of those down here, so the fact that she didnât know was rather odd.
It was obvious who she was referring to.
âYou helped her? Thatâs⌠thank you. No need to apologize I wasnât home, out looking for her and another of my kids⌠I⌠really am grateful for you helping out. I was out there for⌠far too long looking myself.â
The man would step inside a bit, opening the door wider.
âHere, come in. No use freezing out there.â
@little-water-child
So it was her! The lady who helped her before had come back. She knew she recognized that voice, she just knew it! And she knew she wasnât going to get anywhere with what she was trying to do. For a small Tem, Aimee was hard to move without making her up. But since Madison was coming in anyways, Meri would simply stop and wait to see what would happen. ( @goldenprinceasriel )
-The half-bloodâs eyes start to light up, lets out a puff of surprise having a bit of trouble my chuckling mid-speech
âOh! I-Iâm glad I got to be of help,sir.Â
-Once Harrison invited her inside, Madison gave a small bow before looking up with gratitude
âI appreciate it, sir.
-Before she was able to take a step inside, she picks up a rather sweet, mellow smell. She would look to her right and spot the flower crown that was taped on the window, from the other night. She was rather intrigued by it- despite being from another dimension entirely, she was happy that maybe holidays were treated the same?
âaw...thatâs a pretty holly...Â
@nocharacterinparticular
The world is about to be overrun, while someone born after the incident just wants to play and have fun~<3
âNo no, itâs fine⌠needed to wake anyways.â
He still felt like crap though. He had to be coming down with something, but he had a guest right now. He would reach out and accept her hand, shaking it while pulling off his hat on a respectful manner.
âMighty glad to meet you Madison. My own nameâs Harrison, and I can confirm it. Now, youâre not here to sell me girl scout cookies or something, are ya?â
This question was bother a joke and serious. While he was joking about it, he wouldnât be surprised if she actually was.
@little-water-child
The voice certainly sounded familiar⌠but she was trying to figure out how. It had definitely become harder to think. Maybe because she was still pretty tired from everything. But her curiosity had been peaked enough to try and go investigate what was going on.
Unfortunately for Meri, there was the slight problem of being the living pillow for Aimee. She would start trying to wiggle free, doing her best to make sure the Tem didnât wake up.
( @vaultbrigade )
â....girl... scout. I mean... I am a scout! But... w-what are... cookies...?â
-She spent a little time to ponder what Harrison was talking about before she realized her little personal mission.
âRight... Mister Harrison! You may call me Maddie if youâd like; but I was here to check on your pet bunny. I found the poor thing about to freeze the other night.â
-Her hair begins to fade in color when she starts to avert her gaze for a little guilt she started to feelÂ
âI-I do owe you an apology for having intruded on your home... the door was unlocked and no one was responding when I knocked... I hope you understand, sir.â
@nocharacterinparticular
Harrison would be the one to answer the door. It would take him several seconds too, and when he finally opened it he would look like he had just woken up, trying his best to open his eyes all the way. He would look a little confused upon seeing the stranger outside.
âWhy howdyâŚ. Mind me asking what youâre doing out here?â
He didnât get too many random visitors⌠at least none that knocked.
@little-water-child
The bunny was still over with the others by the fireplace, and she wasnât fully awake yet. The Tem was still curled up on her and asleep, so motivation to get up and see what was happening was gone. She didnât want to wake Aimee up just so she could move a bit. And she felt awful too. It was stuffy, and the room felt much warmer than usual. On top of that she just didnât feel like she had the energy to do anything. But her ears would perk up some, listening in to their conversation from where she was.
( @vaultbrigade )
-The half-blood puts on her smile, happy to meet the stranger but rather... troubled noticing how tired Harrison appeared]
âGood Mor-... Oh. Iâm sorry, sir. I didnât mean to wake you.â
-She was unarmed, but sharply uniformed- the only hardware seemed to be her radio and a tin container on her waist. She begun by extending her hand in a delicate manner- gloved by leather.
âMy name is Madison Raynes and I wanted to first confirm: Are you the guardian of the house?â
@nocharacterinparticular
-It sure was quiet down here. But she was certain of it- this was the way she came. After she finished confirming her permission to base- she lowered the incoming volume so it wouldnât make anyone unsettled.
-Madison fixes her uniform as her boots trot from the snow to the door mat. With one hand behind her back, she gives a gentle knock on the residence.

Not many would. The Underground was a relatively peaceful place, if certain persons were not taken into account. Whoever was in the base probably ended up there on accident. Especially if it was Ivan⌠she was really worried about that.Â
Of course, she couldnât say a word of this. So Meri would simply shake her head no as she relaxed. Wasnât much else she could do like this.
-Madison had made her way until she saw something disrupt the nature-like surroundings. Something... man-made... a house?!. She grew a tad excited- she silently gasped in surprise.
âLook, bunny! I think we made it!
-she began to quicken her pace, starting a steady job towards the structure.
Meri watched curiously as the snow bunny hopped around, following her with a few hops of her own. She would keep her distance as Arela dug up a hole and disappeared before going to inspect the hole herself. She was just gone? But how, she couldnât just disappear could she? Wait, the bunny was made of snow. It could probably disappear everywhere around here.
The radio would finally catch her attention, ears perking up as she listened in to what it was saying. Intruder was neutralized, no casualties. That meant the intruder was okay too, right? That had to be what it meant⌠thatâs what she hoped it meant anyways.
-Madison would carefully lift Meri and hold her in a comfortable position, bunnyâs feet on her right arm and gently petting her with her left. She would proceed to walk forward, while speaking to the bunny.
â...I never thought weâd have an intruder out here... our enemies are on the other side... who could possibly come out and hurt us, bunny?â
Meri would look over and tilt her head slightly in confusion. Why was she giggling? Was something funny going on?Â
She would turn back the other bunny carefully as she sniffed her. Arela huh? It was a good thing she hadnât met another bunny before. She didnât know how, but she was pretty sure it would be obvious she wasnât bunny-ing correctly. Though it did leave her with a slight problem⌠she wasnât sure how bunnies even talked, or what they did. Â
-It wouldnât take too much knowledge to be able to discern the fact that this bunny, made of pure snow, was choreographed- but it could certainly fool an amateur. However, it came time for Madison to move on- so the snow bunny would make a few hops around Meri before it would dig a small patch in the snow and squeeze itself into the ground and despawn.
-The half-blood would take her hand out of the snow before she began to sit back up and stretch, with the tin still in her hand. Meanwhile, the radio goes off once more.
âAll units, be advised. Intruder in barracks has been neutralized. Few have sustained minor injuries, no casualties to report Code Zenith-Four until further notice. Repeat. Code Zenith Fourâ
-After putting a hand on her radio to hear it better, Madison would let out a deep sigh of relief. Intruder was an entirely loose term- it could be so much as a stray cat wandering in the camp, but there had been a time a double agent was within the vault. She was always afraid regardless.
â...thank goodness theyâre okay... â
-She whispered as she walked up to Meri ready to pick her up again.
It wouldnât take long for Meri to notice the snow bunny, and she would hop back slightly in surprise. Another bunny? After staring at it for a few moments she would walk over and sniff it curiously. No, not quite⌠it moved like a bunny though. Or at least she thought it did. She would carefully walk around the snow bunny, investigating it to the best of her ability. She didnât understand how it could move⌠it was just made of snow!
-Madison starts giggling at this adorable sight of Meri checking out this bunny puppet. This was one of her favorite things to do with the snow. Sheâs even given a name- a rather peculiar name at that.
âHer name is Arela... Sheâs never met another bunny before.â
-The puppet would remain stationary as it was sniffed. Then she would hop to Meriâs side and sniff her side.
âI think she likes youâÂ
Meri was a little confused when she was set on the ground. Werenât they continuing? The confusion was cleared up when Madison pulled out a tin. Ah, food! Thatâs what she had been talking about, and if she had some it made sense to stop and eat it.
She didnât expect anything to get set in front of her though. She would cautiously sniff the dried orange that had been set in front of her. Once she knew it was fruit, sheâd quickly begin to nibble on it. It had been a while since she had eaten anything. And fruit, dried or not, was fantastic at this point.
-Madison would sit back for a few moments to settle after a small snack to have some more energy kick in. Sheâd watch Meri blissfully, kicking her boots from side to side. She wanted to give something a try while she was sitting. Her arm would turn blue and sheâd sink her hand in the snow.Â
-Rising from the snow was another bunny, entirely made of snow- being puppetted by the half-blood. Sheâd make it hop in front of Meri, almost entirely with life-like movements  All her times being around incidental farm bunnies had made her wise about bunnies.Â

What had been a slow increase in energy turned into a spike, and he felt like he could actually get up again. He didnât know what had happened, but he definitely didnât need someone to tell him to get out of there, although he did hear it.
He was up and running, practically tripping on many of the steps. Being electrocuted for so long wasnât exactly helping in that regard. He could run though, and the lack of full control was just residual and would take a few minutes to get used to being in control of them again.
He was off. He wasnât looking back.
-Julius watches Ivan go. Not knowing what would ever happen next- hoping no one saw the wolf go off. Maybe two wrongs donât make a right but animals had feelings, as far as she was concerned. She gave one last, weak wave before she sits down in the middle of the tent, by herself...
Cold? That wasnât what she was trying to convey at all. She wasnât too cold now, especially since her fur was dry and not frost-covered. But that couldnât be helped. There really wasnât much of a difference between âIâm sorryâ and âIâm coldâ in bunny.
Meri figured they were close. It was hard to tell, the world was much bigger then she was used to. But they had to be coming up on the cabin soon right? And then they could find food! Well, Madison could find food. Meri could point her in the right direction for that, but that would be about it.
âI do have some rations, but weâre kinda ways away from camp... â
-The half-blood tooks about before placing Meri on the snowy ground before reaching into her uniform to pull out a small tin. She would pull out some crackers and dried fruit slices.
âSee, bunny? This is good for you~!â
-She lays a dried orange on the snow in front of the bunny, as sheâs munching on her own snacks.Â
