Closing in on the big action scene in the chapter. I have written the word hole an unfortunate amount of times in this chapter during these past few paragraphs.

So I have this case that is mostly off-screen in my fic (it's too short to be a full chapter and I cannot fit Barok in there and all of that) where Ryuu needs to dress up as a woman in order to infiltrate a household to solve the crime. In parallel to the blossoming attorney, Herlock gives him an alias that is just almost Susato's first name and Mikotoba for a surname. As we know, Herlock does this sort of thing apparently on the regular, so he dresses Ryuu up and does his makeup and all of that very nicely, making him very much look the part he is playing. Ryuu is not necessarily humiliated by all of this, he just thinks that the nice dress is wasted on him lmao. Anyway. Iris also wants to dress up nice and take a picture with Ryuu as Miss Mikotoba. And later when Susato comes back and they go over all of what happened while she was away, she ends up seeing that photograph. She throws Ryuu with a Susato shutdown when Ryuu tries to call himself not pretty enough for the dress. She is devastated she did not get to witness Ryuu as a beautiful lady. True unjustices of this world.

(also, like Susato ended up adopting all of Ryunosuke's mannerisms as Ryutaro, Ryuu ended up adopting all of Susato's mannerisms in his girlsona. Down to every last little quirk Susato does as well. All of them.)

#herlock and yujin both sucking at coming up with aliases and just making ryuu and susato switch names and being like. good enough!#ryuu is kinda mesmerized by how herlock managed to make him actually look like a woman. he still thinks he isn't pretty enough tho #susato is gritting her teeth at this. shut the hell up mr naruhodo. that is the most gorgeous woman I have ever seen in my entire life #tgaa #ryuu and susa #like said this is all off-screen but it's a precursor for a case that comes afterwards lol. barok is going to be in trouble

Also when being bred in captivity(this is done at my work and my job is to teach people about it) to get them to reproduce from the polyp stage of life, we have to intentionally cause them enough stress to reproduce but not enough to harm them. Lately we’ve done that by cleaning their habitat extra well, makes them think the word is ending

Ryunosuke, at least compared to other characters, seems to more consistently refer to Barok by his actual name, instead of the Reaper moniker. Maybe he's just being polite...or maybe he just thinks that the name The Reaper sounds way too ominous and if he says it too many times, Lord van Zieks will appear before him
