The number of people I have known who have pretended to be less ill/disabled than they really are: almost everyone.

we need to acknowledge this because pretending love isn't work will never make people like me feel less guilty for accepting love. we need to talk about it so people don't feel bad for having boundaries and not always being up to do the work. we need to accept it so we can properly appreciate what others do for us and what we're doing for them.

basic design, gets the point across, I like the soft lines and that toe bend, but the fact one of his hands is cut off gives me some “graphic design is my passion :)” vibes, 6/10

OH, I love his funky little hat. The blue is a nice touch, reminds me of The Sims building music and I’m a general fan of his dramatic strolling structure, 9/10

aww, it’s got some very nice line work going on and there’s something jaunty about the stance. I am a little skeptical of those flat tube-sucker hands so it’ll be a 6/10 from me.

ABSOLUTELY GROOVY. This fellow is about to start doing some Dance, Dance Revolution shit on the road. It’s dynamic, it’s got no knee bending action at all, those arms are some disco-ready weapons. 10/10

I like this lady’s energy, the fact that not only does she appear to be staring right at me, but she looks as if she is moving at the slowest pace possible. I respect that she is daring me to hit her and sue me for all I am worth. Hot girl shit/10

because otherwise people will hound them, mock them, coax them, harass them, try to force them to eat it, or even trick them into eating it, and they will never hear the end of it

Because forcing someone into a situation where they don’t feel safe declining putting something into their body they’d rather not be there is totes 100% wholesome American fun

but before I was aware of my sensitivities, they still expressed themselves as preferences. I did not know WHY I did not like the thing, but I did not want to eat the thing. I spent my whole childhood and into adulthood being given shit for being such a picky eater, and a vegetarian, etc...  and more people have these issues than even realize it - so until we can normalize testing for this stuff (which we should - far too many people are eating things they don’t realize are making them sicker than they have to be), maybe just respect people’s food preferences? please?

Okay so in a few movies (like Muppet Frog Prince, which I love and which EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH IT IS GREAT), Sweetums is the villain. But the Muppets are very clear he just PLAYS the villain there because they need someone giant who looks scary, he’s actually sweet and gentle and likes bunnies. He’s a character who has a lot of raw power but doesn’t really know what to do with it.

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR? OF COURSE IT DOES. BECAUSE HE’S A FUCKING JEDI.

Also his outfit is really tattered but I think you can make a reasonable argument it looks like Jedi robes.
