you’re here for a reason, right?

believe in your fucking writing, man. believe in yourself. when you pull away from this place, when you pull away from outside sources, having a strong source of self confidence in your ability to write will propel you forward. the more you tell yourself you suck, the more you will believe it. take care of yourself and what you tell yourself in your own inner mind and mantra. you’re good. you are okay. you are able. do not compare. you just are. instill in yourself, however you can, a sense of pride of what you create. because if you can’t advocate for yourself, or for your character, then who will? you are selling yourself to people who follow you when you are roleplaying. x, y, and z are why you should follow me. i am not ashamed of being proud of the writing i produce. take ownership of what you do and how you do it, even if you’re not all the way confident about it. when you are out in the world, in the real world, advocating for yourself and your strengths is an important thing to learn how to do. free of guilt and free of shame, you have positive traits, even if you don’t let yourself see them at times. i promise that they are there. you’re a peach. and i love you. :) don’t give up.
