Now he’s twenty-two, attending ESU part-time, living alone with a broken fridge, eating dry Cheerios over a sink, and his two best friends have just moved in down the hall. Ned remembers everything. MJ remembers nothing—except the hollow feeling she’s been carrying since the morning she woke up and something was gone, and the necklace she kept without knowing why, and the way the neighbor from 4E makes her feel like she’s trying to chase the memory of a dream.
