Bill: 6'4" - Grew gradually. Passed Richie and Mike their junior year and ended up being the tallest. Very lanky and sorta clumsy.

Stan: 5'11" - Grew early. Was always the tallest one up until around sophomore year. All legs, but somehow graceful.

Eddie: 5'5" - Grew little. Got a few inches freshman year but then watched in horror as everyone around him got tall.

Richie: 6'2" - Grew fast. Got ridiculously tall really quickly the first few years of high school, but then stopped growing.

Bev: 5'7" - Grew slowly. Expected to stay around Eddie’s height but got those last few inches later on.

Ben: 5'9" - Grew late. Was worried he would end up shorter than Bev, relieved when he grew quite a bit senior year.

“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Finn asked from a safe distance, curtesy of Robin actually rather than himself.

Robin had told him to stand back and be amazed, essentially. Which was intriguing enough that Finn obliged.. until Robin started swinging his arms back and forth like he was preparing to flip and Finn was suddenly less certain.

“I’ll be fine, cielo!” Robin assured across the snow. Maybe that would work as cushioning, but Finn was still not convinced. “I been practicing this you know!”

Finn did not know. Something that he was actually confident Robin made sure of. But Robin didn’t give him any more of a chance to butt in before he was already jumping.

His feet leave the ground, and to his credit—he does get about halfway.. before falling into the snow.

Finn’s rushing over before he even realizes, and initially he’s filled with sheer panic. Did Robin break something? Did Robin twist wrong? Is he gonna have to call an ambulance?

It fades, just slightly, when Robin lifts his head and softly grumbles. Not hurt beyond maybe his pride and a little bit from falling, but nothing major or actually worrisome. Finn deflates in relief almost immediately when there’s no blood or bones or anything.

Then smacks Robin upside the back of the head, which knocks some of the snow out of his hair. But not off his face, which is still packed.

Robin sputtered and looked up at Finn with this pitiful wet-eyed expression. Finn almost falls for it. Almost.

“You’re a fucking idiot.”

Robin’s not sure if Finn even knows he does it, and if he does then he doesn’t appear to try and stop it.

Maybe it’s because of how big of a role model Robin was when he was younger, how much Finn looked up to him. How important Robin is to every part of him and his life.

Robin tilts his head to the side while he’s talking. His hair falls over his shoulder and his bandana wrinkles in the new angle, and Robin is so entranced in talking about whatever it is that he looks so bright. Finn’s listening.. maybe.

He tilts his own head back at the opposite angle. Neither of them mention it, Robin doesn’t notice because he’s too busy lighting up like a Christmas tree.

But he notices every other time. And it makes his chest fill with warmth whenever he does.
