Billy has a small notebook he carries with him where he writes about every movie he watched, his opinions, favorite characters and favorite quotes. Stu likes to read it like a book, he likes the way Billy writes about the movies and he always reads it "hearing" Billy's voice, he blushes and smiles. When Billy dies, Stu survives and of all the things he could keep to remember his best friend, he keeps the notebook. When Stu misses Billy and he's sad, he reads it. Billy's voice still very alive in his memory, he opens the notebook, traces the, now old, fragile pages with his fingers....He cries. Stu is older now, and the small notebook is what keeps Billy alive, it's what keeps him and Billy together forever.
