eyes   brush   over   the   female’s   form ,     taking   in   each   and   every   detail   before   her .       perhaps   not   the   most   intimidating   presence   she’s   encountered ;     a   petite   frame   compared   to   the   hulking   men   she   once   feared .       alas ,     there’s   𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠   about   her .       her   charring   red   hair ,     the   intricate   tracings   that   mark   her   arms ,     her   evident   ferocity   and   determination .       daenerys ,     too ,     was   once   written   off   as   a   weak   and   defenseless   woman ;     an   oversight   her   adversaries   would   later   lament   when   facing   the   pyre   of   the   dragon .

there were whispers that called her the dragon queen, and sansa would be a liar if she claimed to be anything other than curious. interested. jon had gained her help, her army, to save the north from what was to come. it would be foolish to think that she wouldn’t want something in return. 

but as she stands there, daenerys at the other end of the hall, sansa would also be foolish to claim that she was anything other than awed. even only momentarily. 

she pulls herself together, the start of a smile curling up the corners of her mouth, as if the hardship and stress of having to try and find the resources for her audience. to keep her people alive during the winter, as was her main priority.

“lady targaeryen,” she rises to a stand, manners taking over anything else as they always did. she rounds the table, a smile on her face. soft. sincere. “i hope the journey was not too hard  –—  i fear that the start of winter is hindering even the best of the riders with the snow worsening.”

a     cordial     smile     passes    ,       bearing     a     genial     nod     towards     her     attendant     in     response    .        the     journey     north     had     been     grueling    ,       never     facing     𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒉     𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒍     in     her     lifetime    ,       but     it     would     all     be     worth     it     once     an     alliance     had     been     shaped    .        not     just     any     union    -    both     capable    ,       driven     women     in     a     world     dominated     by     the     pretension     of     incompetent    and     𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐭     𝐦𝐞𝐧    .        this     bond     could     forever     change     the     rule     and     outlook     of     the     seven     kingdoms    ,       and     she     has     never     been     so     𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐟𝐮𝐥    .
