   The first thing he notices is the human girl on the ground. There is no real time to think about the why or the how, because the next thing he notices is the pack of werewolves.

   Castiel grabs the one closest to him, using his grace to burn the eyes out of his skull. That gathers the attention of the others, and he prepares himself for a fight as their friend hits the floor.

   He dodges a few of their hits, though some hit home. It doesn’t take him too long to take the rest of them down. The strangley human sensation of being out of breath hits him afterwards.

   Castiel lowers his gaze to the girl, and he offers his hand to her.

          “Are you alright?”

Another day, another near death experience. No big deal. Not for Rose, at least. One minute she was hurtling through the rift with the Doctor, the next she's flung into this strange world. She finds herself in what appeared to be a forest, and then she's surrounded by monsters and saved by some raggedy---- but admittedly handsome, man.

          "Yeah, fine---- thanks to you, I guess. That was kind of amazing."

Rose says quickly and takes the hand offered to her. It was as dirty as the rest of him, but warm and calloused. She rubbed her lips together and pulled herself up, stumbling a bit and having to hang unto him as she did so.
