Help me clean my depression room!

This is lowk embarrassing, but it'd be a huge motivator for me. I have severe chronic depression and my room is an absolute mess. It isn't dirty per sé, but it can definitely use some work.

For people like me with OCD: Nothing bad is gonna happen to you if you don't interact! You can scroll! Nobody has to interact with this post!

1 note — I'll water my plants!

5 notes — I'll get rid of all of the food in my room (plates/wrappers/empty shit etc etc)

10 notes — I'll put away my clean laundry (I rlly struggle with laundry)

20 notes — I'll wipe down every surface

35 notes — I'll clean out and organise my desk (absolute nightmare btw)

Seriously, thank you guys SO much for all of your support. It means so much to me. And I want everyone dealing with similar things to know: DO NOT BE EMBARRASSED! DO NOT BE ASHAMED! DO NOT BE SCARED TO ASK FOR HELP! YOU ARE NOT WEAK IF YOU ASK FOR HELP! Asking for help is one of the strongest, most bravest things you can do!

I started with the hardest thing, which was cleaning my closet. I got it done in ~3½ hours or so! I color coded it and everything. I still have about 4 pieces of clothing to put away, which I'll get to eventually. I found SO much old shit I've had and completely forgotten about in there, It's absolutely crazy.

I got rid of the trash I've been meaning too around my room! I think I got pretty much everything unless I missed a few things.

Next up is watering my plants, wiping down stuff, and organising my desk and nightstand!
