Sin Eater

         He WANTS to answer, to give somewhat of an apology, but his mouth aches as he takes yet another sip, accepting his fate rather then fighting against it and being PATIENT. “Do you have to work? It’s nice out.. mm, don’t answer I know you do.” His head rested against the table, the cup very much empty and his throat burning. Of course he does move enough to glare in the other’s direction, temporarily forgetting his tiredness despite the fact that yet another yawn was threatening to burst out.         “AssholeTM.” He muttered in return, sticking his tongue out only to find it sore and burnt. “I should get moving too.. I promised Aqua and Terra I’d help them study.. and study too— Vantias it’s no fair, you never study.. you just always know the answers. That’s cheating, I think.” Despite all he said, his head once more touched the table, fingers playing with the handle of his cup as if it would magically refill. Why wasn’t there a cup as deep as Mary Poppin’s bag that went on and on for miles and seemed to have no end. It’d be HEAVEN. 

        The pain that shot through him begun to ease, a slow and painful process but he was CONFIDENT that soon he could stand tall and face the other with confidence. Unless he was just getting used to what he was given, which was a strong possibility but he tried not to dwell on it. “I know they’re my friends.. but I also know that there’s someone else.. and I just.. can’t— agh.” Whatever small amount he felt before cranked up the heat, forcing him to his knees as he clutched harder at his head to no avail. Rather then speaking more, he took in deep breaths and let himself RELAX, a feat so difficult that stars begun to spread across his vision.         The silence dragged for some time, Ventus almost to the ground with eyes closed and breathing ragged. “I feel like I was there.. but.. I’ve always been here.. It doesn’t make any sense.” It was clear he was DESPERATE, given he purposely chose Vanitas to speak to rather then any master or friend. His heart told him that this was the right course of action and yet his head told him something else entirely. “Vanitas.. I just.. want to understand.”

The masked figure looked over towards the blond as he listened towards the other’s words & of how he spoke about things that he couldn’t remember, but he could --- He remembered everything that had actually happened & it was slightly amusing, yet saddening at the same time towards the raven as Ventus was him & he was in pain....But he himself was in a neverending cycle of pain which he had just grown to become numb towards it.

The raven looked towards the being of Life, the exact opposite of him in every aspect -- Not just their realm of power, but also their personality & their appearance were, amber hues gazed towards the blond as he watched bring some flowers into bloom which brought an ever so slight smile towards his face. But, that was when his gaze looked down towards a deer that had made it’s way towards him, but he moved backwards away from it as he shook his head. If it touched him, he knew that it would just end up dying & Ventus wouldn’t be able to bring the creature back since it would break the natural order of things. “ --- I wouldn’t get close to me, I’m not a good thing to be around” Vanitas spoke rather softly towards the deer, only to soon feel it’s wet nose rub itself gently against his pale hand, which then followed by a deep sigh escaping his lips. He knew that a slight touch like that would make the death rather painful, so he just decided to start actually petting it as he then watched the creature go to lie down --- The raven crouching down as it did to continue petting it to allow the creature a rather peaceful death.

       ❝Ventus…?❞    Sora heard that name before - Thought not quite sure where, or when. It did make him feel somewhat nostalgic though, despite his age. Cue the slight tilt of the brunette’s head to the side.        ❝Well– Riku and Kairi are my best friends! When I saw a shooting star the other night– I made a wish that we could stay together forever!❞    So when he saw the man, looking exactely like him, Sora sort of assumed that it was a message from the future, brought by the falling star.        ❝Is your name Ventus too?❞

Vanitas listened towards Sora talking about his friends like they were some big deal, it was making him sick since the brunet was reminding him so much of Ventus. But then the question came about whether his name was Ventus as well which caused him to glare his amber hues towards the ceruleans that were staring at him.
