What is up with Barty? Is he just sexually attractive to Regulus or is it more? I honestly can't be 100% sure with everything he thinks
I'm pretty sure he's gone for Evan, but will he keep chasing him or give up and keep fucking Regulus?

so before i start answering i should probably mention that i'm gonna avoid heavy spoilers while answering them bcuz some of the questions are gonna be revealed in the next chapters! or even in the jegulus sequel but here u go
regulus knows they're not just fuckbuddies and there is emotions involved in both parts and that's why at the first chapters ending he was nervous abt some stuff but bcuz we are reading from bartys pov it's kind of something he overlooks automatically. but regulus is a more observant than barty so he probably predicts evan's feelings for barty
also kinda yes? for regulus two plus two equals four and that's it for him but rosekiller is kind of messy and always has been and when barty said that they weren't exclusive it just eased his guilt bcuz they fucked
we are gonna learn some lore of james thru regulus in the next chapter but also there is a jegulus sequel right after i finish rosekillers fic!! james is a bit... different in this story lemme tell u (i can't laugh yet i need to hold it in)

bartys brain doesn't function in a healthy way but (within the first two chapters of the story) it's all sexual attraction but regulus also peaked his interest? like he never thought this way abt regulus before and now he saw him in a different light and he wants to explore regulus more
there will be moments where barty feel like he can't win evan back bcuz a) evan is someone who doesn't change his mind easily and he feels betrayed rn b) and barty is stubborn but there are gonna be some moments where he thinks he can't win evan back.. but it's a rosekiller endgame fic so that should tell u abt the ending!! i wanted to focus more on the journey how far would barty go for evan to take him back bcuz he is nuts and very flawed person and he is using sex as a tool to achieve things like he did all his life so u sure need to prepared for the long ride until the final chapter

i'd say both without revealing too much but trio won't happen!! spoilers spoilers can't say much but when u read it it's gonna make u think oh this could've been solved if all of them started dating each other but it's not gonna go the way u would think and when i planned this fic i had a idea where i scrapped where all three of them got together or fucked but then changed my mind bcuz it would betray the purpose of the storyline and jegulus sequel wouldn't happen sadly so yeah it was in the plans for a short period of time but got scrapped
in evan's head it was pretty obvious to outside and to barty but they will have a better convo abt this in the future chapters but i can say i agree w barty on a certain level bcuz evan and him never had a clarifying convo abt them being exculsive and for barty that should've been discussed properly and if they did he would never cheat on evan, a total misundstanding BUT also barty always had a feeling that what they had was more than just being fuckbuddies and evan was doing everything what a bf would do so they both are right on their sides but it's gonna unfold more in the future chapters!!
