UWC Walkabout

"I'm finishing off all my internals and finally have time to integrate myself more into the first year community. Next week I will be picking up Chinese lessons which should be interesting. The week after that I will be going to Rome for a cultural visit for World Arts and Cultures, then when I get back we have 'Italian Week' which I should be participating in and then in a couple of months I will go to Prague for Project Week. We all have a lot to look forward to this Semester at the Adriatic."

“This semester so far i have been getting back into the swing of things. After having an intense 3rd semester full of IA’s and other assessments, i am now focusing more on what SHOULD be the major element of UWC: the community building and rapport with people, and not the academics.

At the moment i am developing areas in our sports facilities and attending workcrews that help build houses in the local communities. In a few weeks i’ll be leading a pod of skiers on a ski trip to Northen New Mexico, and after graduation i am enrolling in the RMC Duntroon to become a Lieutenant in the RAInf Corps”

Just a quick introduction, I'm Georgia and I will be attending UWC Adriatic in 19 days! I come from Western Australia in a small suburb called Darlington in the Perth Hills. I can't wait for the next two years. It's going to be amazing.
