He makes vet visit look easy 

My requests are not open. Please respect that. I barely get to draw things I actually want to draw.

Art takes a lot of time and effort, and it’s a lot of time out of peoples days, especially depending on the complexity, or whether it’s a sketch or a full fledged drawing (and all artists have a different pace too!)

There are some artists who do requests! And if they’ve made it clear they are doing so, go ahead! Ask away! Just stay within the boundaries they set up

But respect the boundaries also of people who have said they don’t do requests. They do not have to do requests, they have no obligation to drawing what you want. At the end of the day requests are free art. So if someone doesn’t have requests open you respect that. Ask whether or not they do commissions, that would be the next step

A lot of the time people who don’t do requests do commissions because they need to make money - they don’t have the time for requests money wise and people probably will go straight to requests if they’re open and ignore commissions. But that isn’t always the case! Sometimes some artists don’t do requests or commissions and you have to respect that!

If an artist has made it clear they’re not doing requests, then stop asking, please. All you’re doing is contributing to stress and disrespecting their boundaries, as well as in some cases making them wanna draw it even less. So plz respect that!!!

Sometimes people can open them temporarily, and when that does happen yeah go for it! But also respect if they don’t do your request specifically, sometimes theres too many or things get overwhelming etc. And also in those temp open times, once the artist says they’re closed again, plz stop sending more! It sucks to be sent things over and over when you don’t wanna and it’s frustrating and can get overwhelming and make drawing harder.
