My tongue will tell the anger of my heart, or else my heart concealing it will break.
William Shakespeare, The Taming of the Shrew (via observando)
quinn && rachel
rachel: hello quinn, i am coming to you with your interest in mind. something has been bothering me for the past couple of weeks.
rachel: first of all, i thought back to how we met. i wasn't in the best place at the moment and you helped me out. sometimes i think that if we were in high school, you probably would be... prettier and more popular than me. i learned afterward that you're brilliant and beautiful and sometimes i find that's endearing. since then, i've gone to you for advice on interpersonal relationships which is incredibly important to me. as somebody who is planning on dedicating my life to being on top, i've had to put on the back burner some things like relationships or friendships. of course, i am perfectly aware that my talent might isolate me from the rest, however i've deems that it's important to understand what it's like to be... a team.
rachel: that being said, it's sad for me to tell you that i feel like that there is more to your relationship and a man that i spotted you with the other day. how he was looking at your was demeaning, gross, and just... WRONG! i am here to tell you that i am here for you and to tell you that you're a strong woman-- you don't need that grade and i'm sure that whatever he's doing is completely illegal with the ethics of a student and teacher relationship.
rachel: this is under the assumption that he is forcing you! i care about you and i want you to be okay.
rachel: [ IMG OF TWO AT COFFEE SHOP ]
Quinn: I don't know what you're talking about or what you think you know or saw, Rachel, but you sound delusional and possibly delirious.
Quinn: ...
Quinn: Where did you get that?

rachel: hello my fellow classmates. as you might know, sue sylvestor has taken over the glee club. i am sorry for this unfortunate turn of events that i am forced to step down from my position as team captain. trust me when i say that i have attempted to adjust this situation with our class president.
rachel: i would like to note that he has denied his treachery in this group. as the glee club knows, i am the key and glue to everything and he seems to think that is not what is appropriate anymore. i kindly ask that we go on strike to have our president removed from his position and do anything to boy cot this debacle. we can restore balance to the glee club again and i can continue on my career.
rachel: thank you. i will start a petition to get him removed from office.
quinn: You're aware of how crazy this sounds, right?
quinn: Absolutely nobody is going to go on strike to remove Seb as president just because you don't like the coach he brought in. Aside from the fact that he's already been elected, the glee club isn't anywhere close to being something that people care enough about to even sign a petition

longhornxmarlsâ:
What can I say? Good books are good books.
Personally I never got the appeal; there are a lot of books with similar themes that are better written, but to each their own.Â
blainethelonghornâ:
It was! I think people really liked it, which made me very happy. Iâm sure! Travelling is always a nice break. Are you taking any good classes?
Are you planning to audition for more shows this year? I have a few lit classes Iâm looking forward to based on the syllabi, but itâs hard to know how good theyâll end up being yet.
longhornxmarlsâ:
Did I spend the last month of summer rereading all the Twilight books and then started on Midnight Sun? Yes. Yes I did. Do I regret this choice? Not at all. Did I wake up a part of me I thought was gone? Yes. Yes, I did. Suddenly I need to go to Forks, Washington ASAP. Someone send help.
I canât say Iâm not judging you at least a little bit for your choice of reading material.

veryberrytxâ:
well, thank you quinn. that is really nice. i think that my overbearing talent often intimidates others, and i donât hear it. itâs nice to be acknowledged sometimes. itâs tough when hard work goes unrecognized. at least sometimes it feels that way. especially with our disappointing end to last year. but iâm ready more than ever to come back.Â
absolutely, iâve already signed up for all the theater performanes, even the ones that i donât think will further my career. of course, as an actor, i have to pick and choose delicately. to be honest, austin is a bit drab. unfortunately, i have no plan of being here after college. iâll be straight to new york. i wouldâve gone originally, though my audition was less than perfect. also my two dads insist on my staying here until i finish my education. even though i disagree with them sometimes, they were able to convince me that my paths would become more open if i had a college degree under my belt.Â
there is plenty of evidence throughout history that college degrees in celebrities are nothing more than just some feel good for parents to tell their kids that person went to college. personally, i think itâs just because they were one in a million (like me) and was simply held back. just like reese witherspoon, brad pitt, and even jake gyllenhaal. though i donât know iâd ever do a gay cowboy movie. anyway mini rant over.Â
right, cheerleading. i have been convinced throughout the years of the kind of things that you go through. it is not something that i think that i can ever do. i canât wait to see you on the field some more, itâs always a joy to watch you. honestly, i really donât know what else i would do during the football games. really, the best part of the game is the cheerleaders considering the large amount of practice that i see go into it.Â
How can you categorize who was held back by their degree and who benefited from it, though? There are lots of well known and successful actors who have degrees that helped them get where they are. Meryl Streep went to Yale, and Viola Davis and Danielle Brooks both have degrees from Juilliard.Â
You actually watch the cheerleaders? Thatâs a new one. Most people just assume that weâre there to dance and look hot but donât realize that what we do is just as athletic and physically demanding as football. And we do it without helmets and padding.Â

Unfortunately, youâre kind of right⌠My summer has been really good, actually. I definitely call it a win of a vacation. How about you?
I heard West Side Story was kind of a hit. It was good. It was nice to get away for a while, but Iâm glad to be back and ready for the fall to start already.Â
utsmytheâ:
with how they acted, didnât need to hold it over them. entertaining? are you going to hold me on the edge of seat with this? how could to say something without elaboration. as for the money thing, i donât know if iâve ever considered that. yes, i have put in for graduation. quite excited to be moving on to more school after this.Â
Of course, where would the fun be if I just told you everything? Donât remind me, I still have to narrow down which writing samples I want to send in with my application and work on my statement of purpose. Where are you looking at applying?Â
Youâll meet her, sheâs very pretty, even though sometimes sheâs sad for many days at a time. Youâll see, when she smiles, youâll love her.

longhornsamâ:
Oh man, Iâm sorry, Q. Some of the guys on the team are like Neanderthalers or however people call them. I promise you right here and right now that any of those guys wasnât me, or will ever be me. Catcalling is so not done. At least thatâs what my momma always taught me. Ever thought about getting a place off campus?Â
Donât worry, Sam, I know you werenât one of them. Youâre too good of a guy for that. Besides, Iâm pretty sure most of them were freshmen. Oh, definitely. Staying on campus right now is only temporary, and unofficial since Iâm crashing in a friendâs dorm, until my apartment is ready for move in at the end of the week. Speaking of, have you moved into your new place yet?Â
blainethelonghornâ:
Iâm sorry there are jerks being assholes.Â
It happens. And really, I guess it wouldnât be the full college experience without the occasional jerks being assholes. On a better note, how is your summer going?Â

If thereâs one thing I didnât miss about campus itâs how immature people are. Iâd rather be somewhere that I donât have to deal with getting catcalled by drunk football players - who are, incidentally, setting themselves up for a miserable morning practice - just for walking down the drag.
veryberrytxâ:
officially, the school has only organized us a sponsor who keeps track of our financial accounting. however, iâve taken it upon myself to led this group to victory. with my pitch perfect sensitivity, it would only make sense that i would appoint myself as the captain of this team in order to lead it to victory.Â
as for the coach situation, yes iâve very aware of this email thatâs gone out, however i have already instructed her that her serves are unneeded and that weâve been on the rise since the beginning of my freshman year.Â
at first i only wanted the experience of the small theater to make sure that i was absolutely correct of the research i did in live blogs about theater work. since amateur theater is just too small for my talent, it was completely obvious that i wouldnât get anything less than 10/10 performance. i can positively say that this was a good time in my books and that i will always remember these times with my friends. especially blaine.Â
youâre currently going through cheer camp right now? how has that beenâŚ?
For what itâs worth, even if youâre not leading the group in an official capacity, youâre still quite noticeable in group numbers. Iâm sure the judges feel the same.Â
Now that you have some local theatre experience, are you planning to audition for more shows this year? I donât know much about Austinâs theatre scene, but with as many performing arts centres as there are, there must be at least a few shows put on every year.Â
Exhausting but good. Itâs nice to be back in the uniform and with my girls for one more year, and if I get to keep my position as a flyer, everything will be perfect.Â
