OCS V2.1 と比較して気がついた違い（絵でしかわらないのけど）

chassis -> tray -> blade の関係が無くなって、chassis に実装

half widthがなくなって、full だけになった

power disribution backplane が無くなって、chassis に電源が実装

電源は、バッテリー内蔵

CPUの排熱用にHeatsinkが付けられる。OCS 2.1でTDP 135Wだったので、Xeon E7-8800 v4 対策かな？（オプション）

PCIe x16が３（2.1は、Tray Mezzanine Card経由）

2Uもあるらしい

Storage JBODが「high-density storage expansion」ってことになってて違いそう

50G Networking になってる（2.1では40GbE)

全体的に構成が単純になっている

メモリーセマンティックが広く使われるようになり、メモリとストレージが収束する

ラックスケールの複数ノード間BUS

「load-to-use レイテンシーが、Sub-100 ns」、「10から数100 GB/s の帯域」、「メモリーと同じようなセマンティックで動作し、既存のOSがそのまま使える」

こんなの出来るのかと思うが、要素技術は揃って来てるようだ。

今のところ、3種類のコマンドラインツールがある。面倒なことに、名称にブ レがあってあちこちのドキュメントで別の名前で呼ばれていたりする。最初は、 位置付けもAzyre PowerShell（１）がWindows用で、nodeで書かれた Azure XPlat CLI（２）がlinux, mac用だったが、PowerShellがlinuxでも動くように なったり、pythonで書かれたAzure CLI（３）が出てきたりしてますます混沌 とした世界になっている。

タイトルだけ見て「もうお前らなに言っているんだ」という気になったので、感想をメモ。

「FordがUberConf 2016で話したサービスに基づくアーキテクチャとは、サービス指向アーキテクチャとマイクロサービスアーキテクチャの中間点である」

ざっくり言うと、「分けすぎ危険程々にね」って話らしい

「サービスに基づく(service base)アーキテクチャは数十個程度のデプロイ可能なサービスから構成されるもので、マイクロサービスの支持者が提唱するような数百から数千のサービスではない」

「何時誰が、数100とか数千のサービスって分けるのがマイクロサービスって話にしたのか」って気もしたけど、UberConf 2016 の(PDF) を見たら。

service-oriented 、service-base、microservice architectureの３つで比較してる風で、

service-oriented が、独立したservice を busで繋ぐ

microservice は、smart endpoint, dumb pipesでservice 毎に独立したデータストアを持つ

service-base では、ほどほどに分けて、ミドルウェアの整合性担保機能を使えぜ（DBのトランザクションとかね）

と3つ並べて論じてた。

「microservice って言っても、そんなに愚直に分ける奴なんてよっぽど頭悪いだろう、普通にやったら分割は適時で整合性はミドルウェアに担保させて、適時保障トランザクションで補う」は当たり前じゃないのという気がしたが。

でもまあ、こういう話をきちんと整理して議論するのが良いところなんだろうなと思った。
