I like Cedric so it's mostly who I draw. I also like (and mainly draw) Cedlock, although I like other Cedric/Greylock 's ships so maybe something sneaks in from time to time.

It's a shame you can't see the hallucinations in my brain because I don't plan on drawing or writing them anytime soon, and you're missing out on the amazing scenario I invented where Greylock, in Baileywhoops, tries to plead Slickwell's case to Magnus and ends up fired.
Roland then offers him a position at Enchancia (probably grateful for the ship incident), which initially works well because Greylock and Cedric can work on their friendship. But eventually, within a few days, the castle staff starts going to Greylock instead of Cedric because they consider him more competent, which makes Cedric feel sidelined (mind you, he's the royal sorcerer after all) and causes him problems with Greylock.
A bunch of angst here and there.
After misunderstandings and awkward responses, Greylock finally talks to Cedric about what's going on, how bad he feels that everyone underestimates him (Cedric) so much, and that Roland is being such a jerk to him. The conversation leads them to discuss Roland, the kings, and some anti-monarchist ideas they both share (with much more anger and less diplomacy than what's presented here)
And things happen. Ooooh and this has soooo many facets. From scenarios where Greylock helps Cedric with his plan to take Enchancia to endings where they heal together. Ughhhh.
I made a doodle based on a musical theater song from a really trippy musical that got stuck in my head the other day.
(Not sure how familiar folks are with Heathers? But, the song is βI Say Noβ from that musical, which got suck in my head. That song isnβt the **worst** song from that musical. But, it is a REALLY dark comedy that was based on a dark comedy horror movie, of the same name, from the 80s. So, like VERY much 18+ music/ topics if you wanna tackle the whole thing.)
So, strong rating on the musical itself even if not the picture.
(I just liked this one particular quote from the song βI Say Noβ as the premise for a prophecy and JDβs design as one for a young Grimtrix. Also, Veronicaβs color scheme- even if this is a black and white pencil drawing - matches the blue and white of Hexleyβs robes. And, Iβve always HCβed that Winifred and Grimtrix were together before she and Goodwyn started dating so β¦ then my mind wandered and we go the image below the cut β¦)
Image/ Image ID / HC context and such like below the cut because, even if the content of the image is pretty PG, Iβm paranoid about the quote coming from this particular musical & the fact that a character is grabbing another one by the arm.
The base premise, of this song, is this teenage girl is breaking up with her clinically insane boyfriend after some *wild* things have happened.
But, in the context of my own writing/ HCs, Iβve always thought that before there was Morgana there was Winifred and that Grimtrixβs hatred of Royals extended well back into his youth.
Winifred didnβt necessarily agree with this, and tried to use her gifts of prophecy to steer him back right. However, what she didnβt necessarily know was that she prophesied that her own child was going to be the one that would stop Grimtrix in his tracks.
(Nor did she know, necessarily, how close he might get to joining him.)
But, in this moment, when she finally realizes that Grimtrix isnβt going to listen to her wisdom, she decides she has to break it off and accidentally sees, from behind, the final moment of all sheβs been prophesying and, what she thinks, is Grimtrixβs demise.
But, whether DotS really was Grimtrixβs last moment remains to be seen.

What elements/objects do you guys consider important to symbolize Cassandra's character? (from Tangled)
(I need help with my art)
Cassandra is completely painted and finished but she's in a white limbo and the idea I had for a background didn't turn out so good... now I'm thinking of what to add.
I don't want to change the temperature or lighting, so I won't paint a night sky behind her or candles or anything like that. I thought about drawing vines and flowers around the frame.... I don't wanna use the black rocks although I do like moon and starts references.... gosh what do I do...
I'm thinking about making a background inspired by historical paintings, maybe with the castle or the Corona isle far away, and a bit of the lost lagoon maybe? I don't want it to look out of place because I will be adding text and it has to fit.
I don't wanna spoil the meaning of the illustration or the quote I added in it, but it's so hard to get ideas for the drawing.
Here some boards I did for the Sofia the First: Royal Magic episode "New Horse on the Block!" It began the "Derby Course" curse, haha. For some reason, I winded up boarding like almost every episode that had the derby course in it. Hate the spinning stars so much, lol. This episode was tough but was a really fun one, especially since I got board out the song "Fly like Me" and it was fun doing a lot fun horse acting with WildFyre.
Well, that's all the episodes I boarded for the current 8 episodes out on Disney Plus right now. Hopefully more will drop this summer!:D
