Unlike the first fight, a UFC belt will be on the line Saturday night, when Holloway looks to defend the BMF title that signifies the UFC's grittiest, most exciting fighter. The Pacers fell to 15-47 with their seventh straight loss and and sit alone at last place in the Eastern Conference. The Clippers improved to 30-31 and are in ninth in the West, one back of the Warriors for eighth.

Brook Lopez added 17 points for the Clippers. Darius Garland and Derrick Jones had 12 each. All-Star forward Pascal Siakam scored xx points to lead the Pacers. Center Jay Huff added 18 points. Forward Jarace Walker had 17.

Bennedict Mathurin goes for 23 in first game against old team

Bennedict Mathurin was clearly motivated in his first game against the Pacers since he was traded to Los Angeles on Feb. 5 for the deal that brought Ivica Zubac to the Pacers. His performance not only showed off his aggression in getting to the rim off the dribble, but also some of the off-ball work and passing that he dramatically improved in his time with the Pacers. He was every bit the efficient player Rick Carlisle spent years trying to build.

Mathurin scored 23 points on 8 of 11 shooting, hitting his last 3-pointer after missing his first two. He hit two pull-up jumpers just outside the paint along with the 3 but everything else was in the lane and most of the buckets were around the rim. He had one dunk in which he threw much of his arm in the rim and another on which he beat Aaron Nesmith on a backcut. He also made sharp reads as a passer with four assists and grabbed eight rebounds. The Clippers were +32 in his 22 minutes on the floor.

In addition, center Isaiah Jackson -- who had appeared in just three games with the Clippers since the trade -- had to play extensive minutes thanks to an injury to Yanic Konan Niederhauser. Jackson finished with 10 points on 4 of 6 shooting to go with four rebounds and three blocks.

Pascal Siakam scores 29 in return from injury

Pacers All-Star forward Pascal Siakam played in his first game since suffering a left wrist sprain on Feb. 22, and he was right back to All-Star caliber scoring.

The four-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA pick was by far the Pacers' most effective offensive weapon as usual, slidiing into the paint for good looks at the rim and in the mid-range. He scored 29 points on 8 of 14 shooting including 1 of 3 from 3-point range and was particularly effective at the line where he's sometimes struggled. He made 12 of 14 foul shots.

Siakam also finished with five rebounds and an assists.

Kawhi Leonard dominant in blowout

One of the big upsides for Bennedict Mathurin in the trade to Clippers is his opportunity to work with an all-time great perimeter scorer in Kawhi Leonard, and Leonard very much looked the part on Wednesday.

Leonard scored 12 points on 5 of 8 shooting including 2 of 3 from 3-point range in the first quarter alone, setting off a Clippers offense that scored 42 first-quarter points including a remarkable 30 in the paint. The Clippers dialed it down some and allowed the Pacers to cut a 20-point deficit down to six points in the third quarter, but Leonard continued to make shots to make it impossible for the Pacers to come back. He scored nine points in a third quarter that the Clippers won 39-26, which included a 29-5 run at one point that turned the six-point deficit to a 30-point deficit.

Leonard finished with 29 points on 10 of 18 shooting including 3 of 7 from 3-point range to go with eight rebounds two assists and a steal.

While the weather was nice Monday, KATU Meteorologist Dave Salesky said clouds will increase tonight, likely blocking the view of the eclipse for Portlanders.

Totality begins at 3:04 a.m. At that time, the Moon will appear deep red, which is why it is often called a Blood Moon. It doesn’t completely disappear because the Earth’s atmosphere scatters the sunlight passing through it and onto the Moon. The Moon will remain totally eclipsed for nearly an hour. After that, the process will reverse itself as the Moon moves out of the Earth’s shadow.

The partial eclipse ends at 5:17 a.m. and the penumbral eclipse ends at 6:23 a.m., at which time the Moon will be completely out of the Earth’s shadow.

“Sinners,” a vampire movie that unfolds in the segregated South, triumphed at the 2026 Actor Awards on Sunday night, winning the top prize for best ensemble in a motion picture while its star Michael B. Jordan was named best lead actor.

“The Studio,” a sendup of many of the powerbrokers in the show’s audience, won a leading three awards, including best ensemble in a comedy series. “The Pitt,” a gritty medical drama, was close behind with two awards, including best ensemble in a drama series.

The prizes, which were known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards until the name was changed last November, are handed out by the labor union, SAG-AFTRA, and honor the best performances on both the big and small screens. On the film front, Jessie Buckley was named best lead actress for playing a grief-stricken mother in “Hamnet,” while Jordan was recognized for his turn as bootlegging twins in “Sinners.”

Noah Wyle, who has previously nabbed an Emmy and a Golden Globe for his performance as an emergency room doctor in “The Pitt,” added a statue for lead actor in a drama series to his trophy case.

Michelle Williams won best actress in a limited series for playing a woman with terminal cancer in “Dying for Sex.” Owen Cooper, the 16-year-old star of “Adolescence,” beat out his co-star Stephen Graham in the best actor in a limited series category. Harrison Ford, the star of blockbuster franchises like “Star Wars” and “Indiana Jones,” won the Lifetime Achievement Award. “I’m in a room of actors many of whom are here because they’ve been nominated to receive a prize for their amazing work, while I’m here to receive a prize for being alive,” Ford, who fought back tears at various points in his speech, said.

But the night wasn’t entirely celebratory. The Actor Awards were held as the U.S. and Israel are engaged in war with Iran. “Our thoughts are with all those whose lives are in danger overseas right now, and I think if there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that we wish for peace and we mourn those whose lives have been lost,” Duncan Crabtree-Ireland, executive director of SAG-AFTRA, told the audience shortly before the ceremony kicked off. Kristen Bell hosted the awards show for the second year in a row on Netflix. The actor, who portrays surly Russian hockey captain Ilya Rozanov in the show, is in no way, shape or form Russian, and learned to speak the language rather flawlessly in just three weeks before filming. “Selfishly, I just love Russian language. I love any opportunity to do an accent, learn a new skill, and this had all of it,” he told Out in November of the role.

Storrie’s appearance on “SNL” might be akin to a decisive slap shot on the ice. The star is hosting days after the US men’s hockey team won gold at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympic Games and then went on to draw ire for partying with FBI director Kash Patel and laughing at a joke made by President Trump at the expense of the women’s Olympic hockey team (also gold medalists this year). It’s fair to say the likelihood is high that this chain of events, coupled with Storrie’s hockey player role on “Rivalry,” could come up this weekend. A mere nine months ago, Storrie was working as a server at a Culver City, Los Angeles restaurant, and almost got fired the day he found out he landed one of the leads in “Heated Rivalry.”

Weeks later, the actor started filming the sleeper hit series, which aired on Crave in Canada before becoming a bona fide hit on HBO Max. Now it looks like his star is far from fading anytime soon. (HBO Max, like CNN, is owned by Warner Bros. Discovery.) Aside from blowing the lid off of what was previously thought of as permissible with what can be shown onscreen when it comes to gay sex, “Rivalry” has changed the cultural conversation in relation to portrayals of masculinity, consent and the potential for the romance genre in the streaming age.

Before “Heated Rivalry,” which (of course) has been renewed for a second season, Storrie was probably best known for a small but pivotal role in 2024’s “Joker: Folie a Deux.”

Along with Williams and their “Heated” costar François Arnaud, he has been just about everywhere recently, from the Grammys to announcing the Actor Award nominations to Paris Fashion Week to hobnobbing with acclaimed Hollywood directors. And no one is tired yet.

The United States and Israel carried out strikes on cities across Iran this morning, quickly prompting reaction from Tehran that has resulted in attacks across the Middle East.

If you’re just joining us, here’s what you need to know about what’s gone on so far today:

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said this morning that his country had conducted a “preemptive strike” against Iran. A short while later, US President Donald Trump said Washington had also begun a military campaign in the country.

Israel’s strikes targeted senior Iranian figures, two Israeli sources familiar with the operation told CNN. Satellite imagery showed black smoke rising from the compound of Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Damage seen in the image appears to show that several buildings in the compound were hit by strikes.

Iranian state media reported at least 57 students were killed in a strike that hit a girls’ school in southern Iran. CNN is unable to independently verify the reports and has reached out to the US and Israel for comment.

Swiftly after the strikes began, Iranian state-affiliated media said that Tehran was “preparing for revenge and a crushing response to the Zionist regime.” Approximately two hours after the US and Israeli strikes began, the first warning of incoming missiles sounded in Israel.

In the hours since, explosions have been heard in Bahrain, Abu Dhabi and Qatar, all of which have US military bases. Explosions have also been heard over Tel Aviv, Israel and Dubai, UAE.

One person was killed by falling debris after air defenses intercepted Iranian missiles targeting sites in Abu Dhabi, the state-run WAM news agency said.

US embassies in countries across the Middle East called for Americans abroad to shelter-in-place, including in Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar and Jordan.

SPOILER ALERT: This story contains spoilers from “Bridgerton” Season 4, Part 2, now streaming on Netflix.

After a slow-burn start to “Bridgerton” Season 4 in Part 1, Part 2 makes up for lost time with two deeply intimate but very different sex scenes between Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) and Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha).

The first comes at the end of Episode 5 (the opening installment of the back half of the season) when Sophie and Benedict give in to their lust for each other and have sex in his bedroom despite their fears of being caught and her concerns about getting pregnant. Set to a Vitamin String Quartet cover of Teddy Swims’ “Lose Control,” the spicy scene is all about giving into that bad idea they started at the end of Part 1, before Benedict’s “mistress” proposal got in the way. “I feel like the pacing of it definitely felt completely different when we were doing it,” Ha told Variety. “I think one is urgent, and one is a little bit more taking care of and taken care of, actually. There were things that we were discussing for the first scene, like, Sophie knows how to undress herself, because she’s a person who would know that. She doesn’t need help, there’s a lot of self-autonomy there. And so we wanted to also make it a little bit different, perhaps, to the other seasons about what it means to potentially make love with someone who is of lower rank and who doesn’t like help, essentially.” The second doesn’t arrive until Episode 8, the Season 4 finale. Set to Strings From Paris’ rendition of Camila Cabello’s “Never Be the Same,” the moment is pulled straight from Julia Quinn’s “An Offer From a Gentleman” book, in which Benedict and Sophie share a bath in his room. But in this scene, there is no penetrative sex. Instead, Benedict cleans Sophie and pleasures her intimately without intercourse, honoring the fact Sophie is still afraid of getting pregnant, and the two are trying desperately to make sure they can end up together, now that they have his family’s approval, and just need society’s. “With the bathtub scene, I think it was also about, like, what does Sophie enjoy?” Ha said. “What does giving pleasure mean, and what does receiving pleasure mean? And actually giving can also be a sense of self-pleasure as well. But also in that one, I felt like it was a lot about her taking charge when she feels like it, but then also being able to be happy with the surrender of receiving. I think in the first one, it was all about kind of equally trying to get somewhere together, as the other one was about more give and take and being a bit more poetic.”

Both scenes of physical intimacy were done in collaboration with “Bridgerton” intimacy coordinator Lizzy Talbot, who also assist Thompson and Ha in pretending to have sex in a giant bathtub of sloshing water.

“That bathtub was also very long, and I have short legs,” Ha said with a laugh. “So there was a lot of logistics, like, which arm am I gonna make sure that I hang on to so I don’t slip and go under the water? But Lizzy Talbot is great for that. She’s the best intimacy coordinator. And, yeah, bathtub sex scenes are not as glamorous as you may see it in the end.”

When Sophie and Benedict are discussing their future together, he tells her he has had feelings for and had sex with both men and women. Sophie processes this quickly, and responds very compassionately and supportively given the time and historical context. Why do you think that is? When I read it, I was like, “Oh, wow — Sophie is so open and generous.” And then very quickly, I was like, well, that makes sense, because I think Sophie is someone who has always been misunderstood her entire life. And she really struggles with people who judge her because of her rank. Jess mentioned to me as well that Sophie’s possibly open to the fact that Alfie is also someone who potentially has open sexuality as well. Like, she’s not unfamiliar with it. And the maids are also people who hold the gossip in all the households, and the people who really talk.

So I think she’s not unaware of the concept of what open sexuality looks like, or fluidity — and then also she’s someone who hates being misunderstood. So who is she to make him feel misunderstood as well?She’s someone who does hold a lot of grace and space, and it’s all about love, isn’t it? It’s not about the fact that he was with a man or a woman. It’s about the fact that he is able to express himself truly and freely, and that is so amazing. It’s actually about love with a person; it doesn’t matter about their gender or sex.

Sophie is finally allowed to live in society and has a whole new world to join in coming seasons — but do you think she will still be involved with her old life in the downstairs world and with her stepsister Posey? Of course! I would love to see the interaction between her and the downstairs, or the differences in how the other Bridgerton siblings treat the downstairs people. I mean, they’ve always been people who respect the downstairs class, actually, but in terms of how they interact, I would love to see that. And definitely see Sophie in noble clothes going downstairs, that would be really fun. I would love to see that. I would love to see them still be very much prominent in the season. If I was a writer, that would be what I would do — but I’m not, so I can’t change that. But I’d love to see that, and see Sophie also just develop her relationships with the Bridgerton sisters and still maintain her relationship with Posey. That would be really sweet.

Araminta made the choice to lie to Sophie about her father, Lord Penwood, providing for her in his will. Sophie believes this unquestioningly until Benedict prompts her to reevaluate why. What is your take on why Araminta could treat Sophie so harshly, going so far as to have her thrown in prison — and why did Sophie accept Araminta’s story about the will? I read an interesting quote the other day saying that, people portray hate because they don’t want to deal with the pain that they have inside them. And I think that is such a quality that Araminta holds. I think when she came into this marriage with Lord Penwood, she felt like she was betrayed to from the get go. And that pain, and her significant reminder in Sophie, makes her inflict a lot of pain onto Sophie — because she can’t deal with her own.

It was really a funny dynamic, but in terms of that will, I think Sophie’s a much bigger person than I am. But that’s the moral of the story — that no matter how much someone hurts you, you can choose to be the bigger person and rise above that, rather than stooping down to their level. But it just makes everything click for Sophie. And it heartbreaks me that she never went to see the will, and she couldn’t ever believe. Like, she just believed the thing that Araminta said because I think from a very young age, she always kind of sensed that the minute Araminta came into her life, her father may have been acting a little bit off, and that narrative that you create in your head can be so strong.

So I understand why she’s done things the way that she has, and she hasn’t believed the things that she has. When she found the will, it was emotional doing that scene as well, because I’ve experienced things where I’ve run with a certain narrative, and then actually, someone’s told me that that’s actually not the case behind the scenes. And it really throws things into perspective. It was actually a very emotional scene to shoot that one, and the one where I tell Benedict, like, “Actually, I was in the will.”

NBC appears ready to secure its flagship dramas for another season, with a new report suggesting that five of the network’s most established series, including the long-running Law & Order: SVU, might be renewed. After a wave of cancellations in 2025, the network is reportedly looking to lock in its strongest performers.

Cast departures remain a reality as shows adjust budgets to secure annual renewals.

For now, Law & Order: SVU, Chicago PD, and Chicago Fire fans can breathe easier as the Wolf pack appears ready to hunt another season.
