These deranged parasocial tendencies with both the show runners and the actors are exactly what kills fandoms and makes them toxic, uncomfortable, and especially awkward for the actors. If you don’t want to watch it, you don’t have to.

The Pitt fans desperately need to stop taking things at face value and running away with them until they’re overdramatized or just flat out untrue.

He quickly made his way to the break room to acquire a cover for his coffee cup, where he saw Dana, her back turned as she leaned against the counter. The day shift charge nurse, who had led them all into battle, only to miraculously come out on the other side somewhat unscathed.

Jack stopped just inside the doorway, the smell of coffee and antiseptic mixing in the quiet break room.

Dana stood with her arms crossed, shoulders slightly slumped, not from exhaustion so much as that after kind of weight. The kind that settles when you realize it’s finally over…and now you can feel everything.

He didn’t say anything at first. Just grabbed a lid for his cup, slowly, and placed it on top like he had all the time in the world.

Then, softly:

"Hey."

As if Robbie didn’t literally go out of his way to antagonize her on purpose when she CLEARLY was already at her limit. I’m so tired of ya’ll babying men who deserve to have it handed to them every once in a while.
