Kita and you have been friends since elementary, you’re now third years. It was your birthday and you were at your house. Everything was set up and your friends were there. Everyone was eating and you were talking with the twins about games since you were Inarazaki’s manager. Soon Hinata, a friend Atsumu had made, came up “So, when’s cake?” He asked and you smiled “Now, if everyone’s ready.” He nodded and you walked to the kitchen and Atsumu rounded everyone up. I sat at the table and Kita came up and set the cake down and you looked at it smiling softly as tears filled my eyes. It was a f/c/f with f/f designs and it said ‘Happy Birthday n/n!’ Your childhood nickname only Kita could call you. No one else. You hated when anyone else said it. Kita placed his hand on your neck and lifted your head a little and kissed your head and everyone started singing happy birthday. You blew out the candles and everyone cheered. While handing out cake the twins came up to you “So.. The hand placement…” Atsumu said smirking and Osamu was smirking as well “Something going on?” Osamu asked and you punched him softly “Shut up.” You say, glaring at them, and they laugh and walk away while whispering, you can only assume what they’re whispering about. When cake was served you sat on your porch and took in the sunlight. Aran came and sat next to you “He likes you, you know?” He says and you look at him “Who?” You ask. “Kita.” He answers simply and You roll your eyes “What makes you say that?” You ask and he just chuckles “Probably the fact that he never stops staring at you, the fact that he got that cake made specially for you, nickname, favorite flowers, favorite flavor, favorite color, favorite icing. The kiss.” You just stare at him and sigh “He always kisses my head.” You say as you finish eating your piece of cake. “Oh, I know, that is why I’m saying something. Now, he might come out here soon, so I’ll leave you be.” Aran said then patted your shoulder and then went back inside. Sure enough Kita came out the door a few minutes later and sat next to you “Hi..” You said softly as you leaned on his shoulder. He smiled at you and wrapped an arm around you “You think it’s time to tell them?” He asked and you looked at him and laughed “Everyone keeps coming to me to tell me you like me.” You said and then smiled “But I already know that.” You add and lean further into his side. He lets out a laugh and shakes his head “Of course they have…”
