monday  left  me  broken.  tuesday  i  was  through  with  hoping.  wednesday  my  empty  arms  were  open.  thursday  waiting  for  love,  waiting  for  love.  thank  the  stars  it’s  friday.  i’m  burning  like  a  fire  gone  wild  on  saturday.  guess  i  won’t  be  coming  to  church  on  sunday.  i’ll  be  waiting  for  love,  waiting  for  love … to  come  around.

forever  trading  places  with  the  same  old  me.  i’m  racking  up  the  cases  of who  i  failed  to  be.  why  would  replace  the  sky — ??  why  would  i  recreate the  that  perfect  blue — ??  what  would  i  change  it  to — ??  oh  won’t  you  tell  me — ??

she’s imperfect but she tries; she is good but she lies. she is hard on herself; she is b r o k e n and won’t ask for help. she is messy but she’s kind; she is lonely most of the time. she is all of this mixed up and baked in a beautiful pie– she is gone but she used to be mine.
