The best way to be prepared  for uncontrollable change is to just be content with what you have now.  And that’s it.  You are in the present moment.  You are alive.  You are breathing.  Everything that you have right now is good and anything else that comes to you is a bonus.   Stop waiting for tomorrow to be happy. You must start right now. 

I never thought I’d be in this situation. Begging someone to love me, even if it’s just pretend.

Where I’m so full of light and self love that nothing can stop me from being happy. Where I feel like I can reach the sky and paint it whatever color I imagine. Where love is synonymous with you, me, us, them, everyone. But other days I feel so weak. So small. I wonder how I ever felt so great about myself or life and I find all these things that shouldn’t mean anything to me and I pick at them until I fall apart. I wrap myself up in tattered pieces of cloth and tell myself I am warm even though I’m shivering.””

So far, you have made it through all of your worst days.
