• Given that the actor as well as one of the directors have stated the Ancient One was specifically written to be androgynous and genderless, I genuinely believe the Ancient One is trans in some way.

•In the actor’s own words,

“As I say with the Ancient One we wanted to go with something very fluid. Something sort of nonspecific and pure and ageless.”

“It doesn’t mean either male or female. It just means kinda gender-free.”

•Avid tea drinker. Has tried every tea under the goddamn sun.

•Prefers hibiscus and matcha tea the most. With a bit of honey.

•Her ass does NOT listen to normal music. She listens to fucking meditation music, brown noise, frequencies, and rain sounds. You will not catch her listening to anything else willingly.

•Do NOT ask her for advice about your cheating bf. She’ll tell you to break up and until you do to stop coming to her over and over with the same issue.

•On the flip side if it’s abusive she’s sending Wong to get you out

• Don’t complain about it either. The Ancient One will just stare at you till you stfu

•Accidentally an asshole but it’s usually justified (she’s just very blunt)

•Refuses to play Uno. When asked why she changes the story everytime

•She really likes watching people play monopoly oddly enough ?

•Avoids contractions when giving advice to sound more wise

•Doesn’t watch Tv. Not because she believes it’s bad for you. She just literally gets no enjoyment out of Tv.

•If you ask her why she’ll lie and say Tv poisons the spirit

•Genuinely impossible to make her laugh. The closest you’ll get is her smiling and saying “that’s funny”.

•There was once a bet amongst the acolytes to see who could make The Ancient One laugh

•They all failed. Like legit no one could get her to laugh

•The secret is that she stops time, laughs her ass off, then resumes time and puts her poker face on.

•She lowkey thinks it’s funny asf to do that

•She once buffed her bald ass head till it reflected like mirror

•Has to set reminders to take care of herself since she finds it to be a chore

(In the prelude comics of dr. Strange she said that she now finds meditation and trying to find inner peace to be a chore.)

•Honestly loves being barefoot

•Has to wear shoes though cuz the floors get dirty too quickly

•Keeps her nails short bc when she was younger she had a bad habit of chewing on them
