Happiness is not a permanent state, it is an emotion that comes and goes. Like other emotions, whether it be sadness or anger, emotions are designed to be temporary so every evening, take time to notice three times in your day when you experienced happiness even if it only lasted for a few seconds. Focusing on the moments when you are happy makes it easier to notice them on a daily basis
