My toxic trait is that if I find a product I like I want to keep using the same product forever. It's not even brand loyalty. It's called stop changing and discontinuing everything.

sometime around the third year of their “it’s nothing” relationship, Neil suddenly hears a strange sound coming from his side one evening. he slowly turns his head, at his own risk, and finds Andrew’s shoulders shuddering every few seconds as he struggles with all his might to suppress every tiny little “hic” of a hiccup. Neil stubbornly says nothing, although a smile has already spread across his face, and he is doing his best to hide it. “Just you dare say anything,” Andrew rattles off quickly, only to be interrupted by another sharp “hic.” he immediately covers his face with one hand. Neil bursts out laughing and reaches for him despite the inevitable “Get lost, Josten,” pressing a kiss to his cheek. “I’ll get you some water.” he says, before leaving Andrew in peace.

I love the idea of Rocky building the xenonite suit a few months after they get to Erid and going up to visit Grace in orbit as a surprise and he goes through this awful perpetually guilty scary triggering learning curve of figuring out how much strength he can safely use on which parts of the ship and Grace, and he's constantly apologising and hovering when he accidentally presses too hard, and all through this Grace (touch-starved, delirious, suffering zoochosis, dangerously understimulated), is trying to find a way to ask if Rocky can break a few of his bones without being put on alien suicide watch.
