Letting a smile touch his lips the second she opened the door, pulling out a bouquet of flowers from behind his back with an even goofier smile.

“I figured I’d try and be a little normal. Instead of climbing in through the window and scaring you. Besides, I didn’t wanna risk ruining your flowers.”

It’s amusing to see him with flowers, and while she wasn’t typically a flower kind of person - the sight of him being that excited for flowers brought a smile onto her own face. “Aw.” Swinging the door open a little for him to come in, Marie takes them into the house, searching the cupboards to find a makeshift vase of some sort.

He grins to himself, but doesn’t reply to that. It’s good if she is convinced she can’t harm him, makes things much easier. “I am glad we understand each other.” 

Clint gives her a look over his shoulder. “So how come you travel alone?” He has met a few survivors during his time here, but mostly they came in groups. The company kept people sane, usually, and of course it was a lot safer to travel this way.
