This was me before the panic attacked

1) speak up. 2) stop settling. 3) giving is beautiful but don’t let yourself be taken advantage of. 4) be picky about the compromises and sacrifices you make for others. 5) you deserve good things. 6) you deserve reciprocation. 7) everyone you surround yourself with should make you feel good on all levels. 8) you are not asking for too much. 9) your feelings matter. 10) people can’t help you if you pretend to be okay all the time.

one of my favorite phrases is ‘that’s a problem for future me’ because it combines two of my favorite things, mild humor and intense, panic inducing procrastination

things to remember: short responses or no responses are usually due to low mood and intolerance for socializing. not because they hate you and would rather you disappear.

With holidays coming fast again, please remember surprise pets are never a good gift. If you wish to buy someone a pet for the holidays, please discuss it with them first to be sure they are in a position to be able to care for the animal. If you really must have some form of surprise to it, surprise them with the supplies not the animal. Then discuss with them if they can have the animal.  Animals are living creatures, not toys or things to be thrown around. Animals are a commitment.
