Every time I drink Diet Pepsi from a certain type of soda fountain (Typically Subway and DQ) I have vivid flashbacks to my time working at Subway.

Eventually they will see what I am on the inside. And when they do. They will leave. Knowing who I am. Forgetting what I tried to be for so long.

If I let go would you hold on? Would we fly? Is it safer if we just say that we tried?

Having an emotional breakdown while being suicidal while being around people I think I should die

To see me is to hate what you don't understand. Because that's what's burned into my skin. When no one understands they live in fear. So I'm just another monster to hunt in the night. Cut me apart with your swords and daggers. It's what I deserve. Hate me then. For there isn't anything to redeem from my peeling rotten skin. Stab me through the heart. Rip it out and see my molding guts spill out of my carcass. You'll see I was never more than one of you all along. And I'll bleed out knowing I died to make you understand my pain.

Scarlet burns in the eyes of a dead man. It radiates the heat that once filled him with passion. Now it's a remainder of his soul still burning bright. Filled with the pain of everything he had. Left behind for something brighter than the memory of his face.
