Apparently this Pride month is all about flag discourse because that’s all Ive seen on Twitter (but what did I expect from that nightmare of a website?). The creator of the “old” flag, a literal lesbian, says the word dyke and now it’s suddenly a punishable crime. She also recently took down her online shop (which she heavily relied on to make money since she’s struggling) because lots of people have been giving her shit.

this is. literal lesbophobia idc if the people doing this shit are lesbians themselves this is fucked up. also why tf shouldn't the lesbian who designed the lesbian flag profit off it? are they genuinely fine with a fellow lesbian suffering in poverty because they think it's eeeeevillll to have a shop with your own design?? disney and target and walmart should not be profiting off the lesbian flag. the lesbian who created it? absolutely has every right to sell merch with it wtf i thought one of the main reasons we hate corps profiting off this shit is because any money from it should go to support our own???
