For Esme’s birthday i very kindly displayed a video i made that was both perfectly sweet and embarrassing and played it to all of UPAD. then we went to Fresher and Professor and myself and her boyfriend both performed at the open mic that was there that night. we were joined in the celebrations by the flatmates, UPAD and some of UkeSoc, she’s a very easy to like person.

after a whole 4 weeks of rehearsals the spring showcase happened, everything thing went smoothly (in my opinion) however is was a long fuckin day and the notorious UPAD after party was in fact quite dull, if it hadn’t been for Esme’s step-sister it would have been one of my least favourite UPAD socials but she’s pretty cool so it wasn’t too bad.

For Charlotte’s Birthday we all went out me and Esme stayed sober and looked after peeps

one of the plays needed a party to film their intro for the play, so of course they threw a party, on a Sunday night, i wasn’t drinking, then i was very drunk, the i went home with Frazer (shakes head vigorously) 

over the last few weeks me and chloe have had a date night every Sunday where we eat bread and cheese for dinner the watch a film in chloe’s bed. its a really great tradition.

this is a UPAD tradition to raise money for CoppaFeel, the only thing you have to do is wear pink (and donate) that night i didn’t drink at all. It was by far one of the best nights out. the house party part wasn’t great but there was a hamster called mr J who’s really cute, and guitar hero. then of course we go to Fresher and Professor where we basically take over the place as there are so many of us, it was fun and we danced and danced and danced, and when fresher shut at 3 we went to cuba to dance, then switch to dance some more. we danced on the bar, on the floor on the pole, we just danced and laughed all night i got home around 5:30-6am ish. it was great!

me and Esme spent another day on the Hoe and quite stupidly braved the water which it being the middle of February was absolutely fucking freezing. 

i made cards for everyone in 6 personalised with puns. there was a card making event in the halls centre thing on the 13th. me and Esme went because Lucy (our RA, who’s lovely) was running it, so did Alfie, Stan and Leo. we made really dumb cards and got glitter everywhere. later that evening i glitter-bearded leo, it was great he looked majestic AF. on the 14th everyone got their cards, everyone at UPAD got a daffodil and Esme got a handwritten book of 40 reason’s why i love her and 17 reasons we don’t.

Saturday out with H-Block Squad

in the last two days before i went home for christmas there weren’t many of us left in plymouth. on the Friday night i cooked a chicken and Lily made potatoes and me her and Leo all had dinner together Kenny and Linus joined and we played catch with table tennis balls and shot glasses sat on the floor and the next morning i said bye to Leo for Christmas as well as Grace and Cai in the afternoon. me and Lily sat on the balcony and watched films with blankets and hot drinks and sweets and fairy lights, she left around midnight i went to bed and went home the next day.

i cooked a christmas dinner for the H-Block squad to enjoy together it was great everyone was talking and happy and the were crackers it was a hell of a day

at some point in December something happened between Leo and Chloe and they stopped talking it was pretty serious.

On my actual birthday i spent the afternoon shopping with Esme with the money i got for my birthday. it was a lovely down in town. in the evening i had Chinese food (courtesy of my mother) with the H-Block squad eventually it was just me Chloe Leo and Alfie and we all just went to bed and ended a really pleasant calm and happy day.
