in a pure storytelling sense though dean and cas honestly have one of the most gorgeous arcs i have ever seen anywhere. i mean beyond the purest idea of an angel falling for the man he rescued in hell, defying thousands of years of servitude to a higher purpose, the parallels between their journeys and their relationship with each other—the sacrifice, the betrayal, the utter need to keep each other safe, the guilt, the self-loathing, the forgiveness—are all elements of some of the greatest romances ever portrayed. it’s just some really, really beautiful storytelling, found in a show that’s advertised as cheap fun with hot actors, and i honestly couldn’t be happier (while at the same time wanting to carve my heart out with a spork).

Wait so Murphy has Clarkes sketchbook so he’s gonna notice how there are way too many pictures of Bellamy and figure it out and he already knows that Bellamy loves Clarke “not the only one trying to save someone I care about”. He’s gonna out them. John Murphy is gonna yell “just kiss already” at them. I’m calling it.
