Have you ever wanted to try Pagan journaling? If you don’t know where to start, here are a few prompts that you can read for inspiration.

Daily Check-Ins:

These are journaling practices that you can do on any given day, or daily if you choose.

Write down five things you’re grateful for, and thank the Gods for them.

Meditate for two, five, or ten minutes. Write about it afterward.

If you remember last night’s dream, record it and what you think it might mean.

Tell the Gods about your goals for the day.

Read one chapter of a book each morning and write notes.

Record the weather. How does it make you feel? Would you thank your deities for the weather or season?

Cleanse with smoke or crystals and then write down how you feel afterward.

Perform divination--draw a tarot card, pull a rune, or scy for a bit. What was your question? What was your answer?

Talk to the Gods about what is bothering you.

Find an inspirational quote. What do you like/not like about it? How does it relate to your practice?

Choose one symbol, crystal, herb, or divination tool. Research its correspondences and note how you can use it in your practice.

Contact a spirit you’re familiar with. What method did you use? Divination, meditation, or something else? How did it go?

For a Pantheon/Religion:

These prompts can help you learn about a religion/pantheon or explore your own beliefs.

Are there any major holidays coming up? If so, how can you prepare for them?

Study how the ancients practiced this religion, and take notes. What can you include in your practice? What will you exclude?

Look up the tenets of your religion, if applicable. Do you agree or disagree with these rules? How can you include them in your practice?

Give an offering to the Gods, such as a candle, incense, coffee/tea, or even water. How do you feel afterward? Is any particular deity grabbing your attention?

Talk about your favorite or least favorite myths from this religion.

Jot down a general prayer for all the deities, such as “Gods, I thank You all for ___.”

If you are interested in any other pantheon, study it and take notes.

Research a deity in your pantheon Whom you don’t know as well. What did you learn about Them?

How do you feel about this religion’s view of the afterlife?

Does your religion have a holiday calendar? If so, write about it.

Are there any local legends or folklore where you live? Study and write about them.

Why did you choose this religion or pantheon?

If you are eclectic or still choosing a Pagan religion, write down what you are looking for in a belief system.

Write down anything you love about your religion/pantheon.

Record your worship goals. In the next month, season, or year, look back at your list. What have you accomplished?

Are you thankful to this religion for any positives in your life? If so, write those down.

*Note. This is a very minor factor in the human psyche, and not technically a component of the natal chart. Each day of the week has an energy which it imparts to individuals born on it, but it is vague and often a subtle undertone or theme rather than a prominent, overt, direct influence. This is closely related to the “mundane” matters of the 6th house, the everyday aspect of our lives, and how you approach or behave in that area. The planet ruling your day of birth may be interpreted to have increased energy or importance in your natal chart.

They can be very creative individuals, full of vitality and unique personal power, and they’re often well-liked for their radiance. Above all, their opinion of & belief in themselves drives them in their everyday lives. Their actions revolve around independent choice.

MONDAY || Moon

People born on Monday tend to be rather sensitive and emotionally responsive. Their feelings are deep & strong, and typically have a significant influence over their actions. Privacy and comfort are priorities in their everyday lives; they strive to feel safe, and may be reserved. They can be profoundly compassionate. They value their memories, which are usually vivid & clear, and protect their history.

TUESDAY || Mars

People born on Tuesday tend to be energetic and forthright, with a vital intensity and passionate disposition that carries them throughout their everyday lives. People born on Friday tend to be charming & generally likeable. They’re polite, graceful, and easygoing, with rather “breezy” and warm personalities which attract others to them. They have a good sense of style & know how to present themselves in appealing ways. Beauty, indulgence, pleasure, & self-esteem are what their everyday lives revolve around. SATURDAY || Saturn

🕯Unbinding spell🕯

A really simple unbinding spell I used after someone told me that they had secretly tried to bind me to them. You can also use this to severe any unwanted emotional ties.

Ingredients

2 black candles

2 candleholder

Red string

Matches

Needle/knife

To start, you carve your name and the name of the person you wish to unbind onto each candle. Then use the red string to tie the candles together. Light the candles then say " these two Flames burn brightly together, but one consumes the other with this link between them. No more shall I suffer from the sadness brought by (person's name), no more shall I be burnt by (person's name). (Person's name), I sever my ties with thee."

sort of like an “unbinding” jar, i made a spell jar to release the hold my favorite person has on me.

a favorite person in the context of borderline personality disorder is a person who you have an unhealthily strong bond with. you base your self worth on how this person treats you.

INGREDIENTS:

a jar

a picture of the person you are unbinding

two scrolls of paper with your names on each one

string

red chili flakes (used for banishing negativity)

table salt (to cleanse and purify)

black candle (to banish bad energy)

white candle (to purify)

optional: an artifact that symbolizes your friendship

STEPS:

gather your ingrediants. write your name on one slip of paper, and the other person’s name on the other. connect the two pieces of paper with a piece of string.

light a black candle. with your intent in mind (severing the connection between the two of you), burn the string connecting the papers.

tear up the picture of the person. doing so carefully, burn the picture and the slips of paper.

add the ashes to your jar.

add red chili flakes and salt to your jar.

optional: in my jar, i added a ring that she handmade for me.

light the white candle. keeping your intent in mind (sealing off the jar and thereby banishing and severing your bond), seal the jar with the white candlewax.

What you’ll need:

🌹pink, red or white candle(s) or tealight(s).

The spell:

🌹light the candle(s)/tealight(s) (basically for setting the mood);

🌹take the rose quartz in your non dominant hand and hold it close to your heart;

🌹let the energy of the rose quartz flow through your body, visualize your heart pumping the love into your body;
