today i dreamed of two goddesses — one of love and beauty, the other of destruction and war. they were fighting in the heavens and so humans wanted to make the right choice in whom to venerate so they could achieve heaven. they chose the love goddess thinking her to be softer but finding love to be as harsh as war; and then, in despair, they wondered — so is it war that grants us heaven? the war goddess then answered: all paths lead to heaven because all is good. it is the content of the journey that is different for each and why you struggle so, because you choose for conformity and not for your heart.

When someone asks me what impact I want to have on others, I always say that I live for myself and only for myself. I am not motivated by the desire to impact people nor to inspire people/leave a legacy. I think it is very presumptuous to predefine the impact we will have on others because when you really think about it, who are we to impose our so-called impact upon others? I don't consider myself important enough to assume that I will have an impact on others. My choices in life are motivated by myself, and even if I never end up having a concrete impact on others, at least I will have lived a well lived life.

Life seems to be moving fast because you live a monotonous reality. You need to escape the trap of the mindless routine before it consumes you. The last thing you want is to blink and realize you’ve lived a good chunk of your life in ways that blended all days together with a complete loss of time. Your life needs excitement, activities, quests, challenges, novelty on a daily basis. Life is not happening in your bedroom, head, or you phone. It is happening outside. Go live it, now.
