When we first created this group, we weren’t entirely sure what to expect out of it but never did we think it would grow into what it is now, months later. We’ve been blessed by being introduced to so many gifted writers and incredible muns, that we definitely hope to keep in contact with. So, that’s what makes writing this post even more difficult, but unfortunately we can’t drag it on any longer. We need to be fair to you guys, the members and say that we admins have lost our muse for this group, which is no one’s fault. It happens. So, we feel it best to close the group for the time being. Members are more than welcome to carry on with threads, continue to rp with their partners and through the dash, but was a main and rp are now closed, and we hope you can understand !! 

The OOC chat will remain open for a while to allow people to get other’s social media info, find a way to stay in contact and we truly hope you do keep in contact with not only us, but each other as we know incredible bonds have been formed within this group.

I’d like to start this message off by saying that I am truly sorry you are feeling this way. I’d encourage you to come off anon so we can talk more about it as the issue will be more easily resolved there. Feel free to message the main or any of us admins if you are uncomfortable sending a message directly to the main. I am always here to listen to peoples concernts about the roleplay. 

Now onto the real concern. Sometimes plotting can be very difficult and sometimes discord doesn’t always show the messages like it’s supposed to. I encourage you to message someone back if they haven’t replied to you trying to plot and sending a reminder about threads is always a good idea too. I know that sometimes things get lost in the tumblr notifications so they might not be purposefully ignoring your messages or replies. I know a lot of people would feel bad if they didn’t realize they had missed a reply of someones.  

This is going to serve as the second reminder that we encourage everyone to roleplay and plot with everyone. I know that can be difficult sometimes but a roleplay cannot survive if people are only replying to one or two people constantly. I know the event probably threw some people off and I encourage you to check out the uhqstart tag and the uhqscarnival tag for starters as neither of them contain every carnival related starter that is out there right now. 

I’d also like to mention that this is a busy time of year for everyone with school finishing up and exams. So if you ever need a hiatus please let us know. I feel like the busy time of year might also be contributing to the problem as people are busy and only have time to reply to a few things in the moment they are able to log on.  

If anyone has any further questions or concerns please feel free to message the main or any of the admins individually as we’d love to be able to help you in order to keep this roleplay going. 

due to personal reasons

We don’t have any set rules, but semi hiatuses are definitely allowed and we’re very lenient with activity while members are on them. I’m not entirely sure what’s being asked, but if you think you’ll be on at all during your hiatus, then a semi is best, if not...then a full hiatus is recommended. 

this breaks my heart so, so much and i’m so sad that you feel this way and really would encourage you to come to us off anon, whether it be one of the admins individually or via the main as it’s not something we’ll be able to resolve easily from an anon. but i also understand, there have been nights where i reply to a ton of starters then log off and wake up to very little...but i don’t think it’s because anyone is being ignored or trying to bubble rp ( though I will look more into this after work ), I do think it’s because some nights, people just are so exhausted and drained from their day that they end up not having the energy to get online...which is 100% valid. For me personally, I know I haven’t been great activity wise and I’m terrible at messaging people back in general, not because I don’t want to talk or am ignoring you, but because I space out and can be lowkey very forgetful. 

That said, MEMBERS, please remember this is not your indie, this is a group rp and we expect people to interact with everyone, to reply to all threads. If you’re not feeling something, MESSAGE / COMMUNICATE with the mun, let them know why, maybe consider starting a new thread based on something else? But work something out. I understand people lose muse for a thread, and while dropping a thread for that reason is 100% okay and valid, you need to let the other mun know. Communication is key, otherwise you’re left with a group of muns overthinking every last move. 

But we as admins, we take this very seriously and we don’t want anyone to feel discouraged or put off when they log into their characters. So, please, if you’re comfortable in doing so, message the main or at least one of us admins in hopes to solve this, because we will.

I think I can speak for the entire admin team when I say just how excited we are to welcome back not one, but two old members to the group, along with a brand new character penned by the lovely Blair !! We’re excited to have some old faces return to the dash, along with a new one join our lovely bunch of characters.  Make sure to submit your blog within twenty-four hours and do look over the checklist!

this is such a sweet, sweet message to log into. i’ve felt a little in the dumps lately admittedly about admining and how i’ve handled things within the group, so it’s really nice to hear this and i want you and all our members to know that we truly adore having each and every one of you, as we admins wouldn’t be able to have this place without all the wonderful muns and we truly do cherish you all <3 

both have now been added, thank you for filling us in as it’s not always easy to know who’s done what !! 

Of course ! And I say this extends to other kinds of nsfw content such as images featuring gore/violence/blood, drugs, etc. as no one wants such content to pop up while at work, so please be courteous members and tag posts, especially pictures !! and do refrain from excess nudity images. As someone that works with kids, I too would appreciate this A WHOLE LOT as I don’t want to explain nor get in trouble if I accidentally open my phone to an image that a two year old definitely shouldn’t see...as I sometimes use my phone for music at work..
