During the final confrontation, D3rlord3 being incredulous at avery's willingness to blindly sacrifice his whole future for someone he doesn't even know. The angst. It hit.
And avery being adamant he has this future because of d3rlord3. D3rlord3 who has convinced himself he was just doomed to die in this minecraft world. D3rlord3, a man so lonely he died of starvation because no one knew to check up on him in the 'real' world (that's like at a min of 3 months).
D3rlord3 who was convinced there was nothing worthwhile to his life anymore and then, here comes avery. "And I owe it all to you" avery.
D3rlord who was scared of dying and being forgotten by the world and then, here comes avery. "Even if I don't [remember you]. My recording will" avery.
D3rlord who was scared of an unknown entity with knowledge beyond understanding and then, here comes avery. Stubborn, reckless avery who gives d3rlord3 hope. Who gives d3rlord3 a goal. Who allows d3rlord to face the king with new resolve.
Every fear that d3rlord has ever since he entered the minecraft world has been solved by avery. And he will repay him in kind. Arghh
