Seattle Public Library is doing this awesome program called Books Unbanned that allows teens and young adults (ages 13-26) access to their collection of e-books and e-audiobooks from anywhere in the USA. All you need to do is fill out a simple form and you get their Books Unbanned card. Please share this information far and wide. I know they're not the only ones to have done this, but the more the merrier!

here is a new year’s resolutions for y’all: DONT FUCKING PRANK CALL BUSINESSES. believe it or not, it’s not actually funny to be prank called. in the past 5 days i’ve worked i’ve been prank called 15 times. so please don’t prank call you aren’t cool or funny

Not to mention the "Sexual" prank calls are severely inappropriate. I was an operator for a big retail company, while simultaneously working the apparrel section and Jewelry Counter, had gotten my first pank call on my 2nd year of working there. They were calling asking about where you could find condoms in the store and then on some unintelligible tantrum about where theyd stick something and made even more vulgar comments about my body, this was even more horifying considering they sounded like they were under 18 :T. I hung up on them when they got to that point, but they ended up calling again and while going through the same shit prank i wrote down their number and gave it to management. Pranks calls, of any nature, are not fun, warranted or appreciated. :T You end up taking the associates time away from customers that are actually ordering something or needing assistance, can cost the associate their job and make the associate highly uncomfortable.
