The satisfaction Charlie felt upon seeing her uncle actually reply to her question after she tried to pull it back made her feel almost childish, even if she hadnāt had any manipulative intentions with her comment.Ā āSheās a bit late, isnāt she? I donāt think dad could ever forgive her.ā And she wasnāt sure about her brothers and her, either.Ā āItās just, it feels weird. Why now? Why not five years earlier? Ten?ā It seemed obvious that Charlie was still wrapping her head about it, and her uncle was the only person she felt comfortable dropping the wholeĀ ā I couldnāt care less ā facade. Shaking her head slightly, Charlie looked at Greyson. āI bet itās not fun to talk about it for you either, uncle. Thanks for hearing my ramble, I donāt want to bother you with that. There are just some things⦠I donāt know, that it feels weird talking about with my dad or my brothers.āĀ
greyson bit down on his bottom lip, nodding.Ā āiām not going to sugarcoat it. she is, in fact, late. however, itās notĀ too late. i donāt think he would either but i donāt know.ā greyson sighed, trying to find the right words. what he wanted for charlie was for her to think for herself regarding the situation. he could tell that this was obviously bothering the younger female; it was fresh for all of them.Ā āthatās understandable āā and you have the right to feel weird about all of this. your mom cominā back into the picture and such.ā whatever she was feeling, she had every right. he wasnāt going to leave his nieceās side. she could ramble on about anything and greyson would be around to lend an ear. he listened and cared so much than he could admit. he looked at his niece, giving her a dismissive wave.Ā āyou know iām around for anything, including your ramblinā. donāt you worry about me. i get it, though.ā he nodded.Ā āgot somethinā else on your mind, kid?ā
