I’ve just logged back onto this account after being MIA for a year I think - I have just been scrolling thru my past posts from more than a year ago and subhan’Allah the benefits of some of my past mutuals posts, and even the general khayr that was circulating on this app was amazing

Whenever you hear of a death, take it as a reminder that life is never guaranteed. You are here today, tomorrow you could be gone.

Do everything you can in this world to please your Lord while you still have the ability.

“O you who believe! Spend of that with which We have provided for you, before a Day comes when there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession. And it is the disbelievers who are the Zaalimoon (wrongdoers)” [al-Baqarah 2:254]

'Make your homes places of prayer.'

وَلَا تَكُونُواْ كَٱلَّذِينَ نَسُواْ ٱللَّهَ فَأَنسَىٰهُمۡ أَنفُسَهُمۡۚ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ

And be not like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves. Those are the defiantly disobedient.

Muhammad ibn Sirīn reported that Al-Ahnāf Ibn Qays (the chief of Banu Tamīm and one of the most eloquent of the Arabs) used to say:

“I heard the speeches of Abu Bakr, ‘Umar, ‘Uthmān, ‘Alī and the caliphs who came after them, and I never heard words from the mouth of any person that were more powerful and more beautiful than those of ‘Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her).”

علي بن عاصم - وفيه لين -: حدثنا خالد الحذاء، عن ابن سيرين، عن الاحنف، قال: سمعت خطبة ابي بكر وعمر، وعثمان، وعلي والخلفاء بعدهم، فما سمعت الكلام من فم مخلوق افخم ولا احسن منه من في عايشة.

Learn to Worship Allaah With Perfection and He will rectify your condition.

لم نُخلق لنرضي الخلق

We weren’t created to please the creation.

However if you burden your soul with the past, or with worrying about the future in a way that the Shariah does not allow, then know that you will be very stressed and you will miss a lot of good.
