Whether it’s the first interactions between the muses so the chemistry is still up in the air and it’s still unknown as to whether or not they’ll click before potential plotting, or the muses have too much minds of their own and run wild the moment you set them loose in a thread, plotting is hard and occasionally your pre-planned threads jump the track and go in totally different directions than anticipated thanks to the muses’ creative differences. If you feel our ship is ending/fading out, or you simply don’t want to do it anymore, I’m an adult. Tell me. Because ghosting your partners is something children do. Yes, you do owe your long term partners some kind of an acknowledgment instead of leading them on with half-truths,  wishy-washy responses, or radio silence. Now, to me, that looks like you’re done with my muse/our ship, so I’m going to back off and assume you’re done with my muse. But if you come back later all: “weeee let’s ship again!” or send romantic memes after ignoring me/our ship for so long, it makes for mass confusion. PLEASE. TELL. YOUR. PARTNERS. WHAT’S UP. Even if it’s in the form of an ooc post in general, let your dash know what’s going on. Obviously you shouldn’t have to post personal details, because every partner/verse is different and personal, but please, please, please be mature and let your partners GENERALLY know you’re dropping verses. Communication is key in everything, not just imaginary pretend time.

Are allowed to have a life outside of roleplaying.

Sometimes, it’s not a lack of muse or short attention span or lack of time. Sometimes we’re too afraid to write out the reply we had in mind in fear it’s inadequate or written too fast. Then we send replies days, or even weeks, later that we had thought out in our mind since the beginning. 

It's the only rp blog I have any muse for rn but it's fucking dead in the inbox and it's making me kinds depressed...
