(Photo text in alt desc) Set the date! November 1st through the 7th is Shabig week!

Each day starts at 12AM Central Daylight Time (I'm sorry to anyone non-USAmericans we did try to convert to multiple timezones but we only ended up more confused than anything.. It's UTC-6 if that helps!!)

As of posting this we only plan to host this event on Tumblr and by extension, Archive of Our Own. We /do/ have a Twitter but the layout and function of the site is wholely hostile to us in a way that consistently drives us away from using it so while we may consider checking a tad for Shabig week pieces on Twitter, do not expect much on that front. No promises.

"What mediums are allowed?" Any! If you make it with your own skills/two hands/three feet its allowed (NO AI.) Writing, music, photocollage, whatever you like! If its Shabig its allowed!

"Why is it all the way in November? What's up with that?" As someone who sometimes tries to find ship weeks or art weeks.. It's the worst feeling when we hear of an event like this a mere two weeks or less before the event. We wanted to schedule it in a decent time in the future. We'd have picked October, as that is also a reasonable timeframe but most people tend to pick up monthly challenges for the season.. So to not interfere too deeply with that, we chose the first week of November to avoid October events, and to beat out the winter holidays. "I have a question about something not answered here, whats the best way to contact you?" Our askbox is open and we're generally able to check Tumblr if we're not asleep or busy. You're also free to comment on this post and ask!
